Seems like best buy from top too the bottom is a garbage company. Staff are rude and disrespectful and break items that are brought in for repair then refuse to fix the damages they caused. Customer service is bottom of the barrel,From corporate all the way toFloor workers in kitchener Ontario they are brutal. Shop elsewhere!!

Terrible service. I had my credit card info stolen by someone working at Best Buy.. they bought a phone and charged payments on my card for two years before I noticed. When I called head office they said they would open a file and get back to me in a week. Two months later still no word.

One of the Worst shopping experience's of my life. Did not know that Best Buy has third party people who sell directly under the umbrella of Best Buy. I would not have purchased anything had I known this or if it was made clearer on the website. When I shop at say, Canadian Tire..it is actually Canadian Tire not some third party seller. So I bought a watch thinking it was from the actual store Best Buy, only to find out it was in fact a third party selleŕ. I had been waiting to purchase a Samsung Galaxy watch at an affordable price to me. I made my on- line purchase and then came to find it was unusable in Canada. Why would I purchase a watch in Canada that I cannot use in Canada??!! I contacted Beat Buy, they told me I needed to contact AB Cellular. I sent an email. I also contacted Samsung, who were extremely helpful and polite and they told me the model I had purchased could definitely not be used in Canada. I spoke with Best Buy and AB Cellular again and they said the watch was international..(does that not mean It can be used pretty much anywhere, Canada included)? I ended up paying $53 to send it back courier...so now my $329 dollar watch cost me a whole lot more. I did not receive a full refund because apparently the buyer pays for shipping costs to me as well. WHEN SHOPPING ON LINE AT BEST BUY BE CAUTIOUS AND KNOW YOU ARE MORE THAN LIKELY PURCHASING GOODS FROM A THIRD PARTY SELLER.

My experience deserves no stars. Receiving a product through a marketplace seller that was damaged has resulted (after 3 weeks of dealing with the seller and Best Buy) with a refund. They will not send a return label for the damaged item and so we are left with the expense of disposing of it -- $220.00.

Head office are responsible of handling exchanges of big ticket items, in supposedly 3 days I was told by an agent. Took them 3 weeks instead.

Could really use some work on improving their ratings/brand on google here - start by reading customer feedback and replying.Difficult to call stores, reroutes to a call center instead so you often cannot get your question answered without making a trip in.That being said, once at a store, staff are generally knowledgeable and they may have the widest selection of electronics around.Competes with Staples on laptop selection.Geek Squad service center helpful with computer issues.Being a big box store retail chain, returns can be handled at any location making it more convenient for customers.

Why.oh why, do I have to phone India to get to ask a question from my best buy store just to find out if I left my router there. I (think) I left it at the store. Unfortunately since I live an hour's drive away, I tried phoning the store to see IF I left it there. I phoned twice and was given inaudible (heavy accented) solutions. They told me someone from the store would call me back, it's now been over 8 hours and silence. Finished, finished and finished with Best Buy. p.s. the sad part is that we were helped by Taylor in the geek squad and I was just starting to think that best buy was just the ticket for me.........NOT !!!!!!!

I am an 80 year old disabled woman with a 91 year old disabled husband who cannot be left alone. There is a charge on my VISA for the geek squad for over $22, and a second charge for $4. I have no idea what these charges are for. I called Best Buy customer service and was told the charges are for a subscription that I don’t remember signing for. I ask that it be cancelled and was told that there is a $200 to cancel. I tried to get the call escalated and the request was refused three times. I was told to go to the store, something I simply can’t do. Is Best Buy so desperate for money that they have to take my $22 a month? I’ve shopped with you for years, but will never ever walk into another one of your stores.

If I could provide a 0 rating I would. I have been a long standing customer of Best buy - this will be my last time shopping with them. Purchased a printer 10 months ago - have experienced nothing but issues from day 1 but gave it the benefit of the doubt. Contacted Best buy - big run around and failed trouble shooting from Geek Squad. Was directed to Epson to resolve - troubleshooted with them (2 hrs) only to find out the printer is defective (hardware) so it has to be returned to Epson - a Refurbished model ( I requested a new one) not an option - they will be send the refurbished - 7-10 days - which means 15+ days.... options available were not acceptable.... requested to speak to a Supervisor- total waste of time - same options given.I decided to ask where she is located - in the Philippines- call center.. she mentioned further delays due to clearance at the border????... ie 2 more additional days- what border crossing?... my expectations is it is coming from a warehouse in Canada... not the case.. entire ordeal was totally disconcerting...

The Cambridge Pinebush location made an error with an online rewards purchase. They tried to lie to cover up their error and then got caught in their lie, at which point the manager became rude and indifferent. Since this happened I have tried many ways to reach out to BB Canada only to be completely ignored. It's obvious they don't care about their consumers.

Ordered a TV online. Got an email that said it would come Friday. Took the day off. On Thursday night I get a call that the TV is coming Sat. Lost one days of work. Saturday it came. It's the wrong TV. Call for help. Beatbuy can't get hold of the carriers. Supposed to call me back never did. Called back Sunday and the notes they put on my file. But no one knows what's going on. Best buy says the carrier would call me for a swap. Apparently another person got my TV. I got theirs. My question was why would I swap the TV. I bought a brand new TV from you. I want a brand new TV. I call best buy and they same the same thing about the swap. Wow. I had to demand to get a new TV. Supposed to get a call on Tuesday. Never do. I call. I demand some sort of compensation. They say the carriers take care of the delivery fee. Why am I the customer calling best buy so much and now the carriers. Other company's one call and take care of everything for you. Called last night. Supposed to get an email back. Never do. Called today. No one knows anything about my case. It went to HQ. But haven't heard anything. So I got a refund today. Still have someone else TV in my hallways. Wow. Gets service bestbuy. You guys cost me a days work. Then bring me the wrong TV. Have to waste calling you and the carriers everyday and no one from HQ can call me to figure this out. Thanks for nothing

Can I give less than one star? Best Buy is refusing to honor the Quebec electronics legal warranty on a computer purchased from them in December 2021. The store in Lasalle was beyond rude and uncaring, telling my son to get a lawyer!! Best Buy even has a snippet of the legal warranty on their site. They refused to read it, or the legal warranty on the Quebec website. Never, ever do business with Best Buy. NEVER. He has now been waiting for a call back from one of the stores (since Saturday), to see if another store will take his computer... WHY is it up to the individual store to make this decision? IT IS THE LAW. Is Best Buy above the law? Zero customer service. Disgusting treatment. My son spent 2000$ on this computer. Don't buy from Best Buy. Ever.

Was sent the wrong product on April 29, 2023 by delivery truck. It is 8 days later, & despite online chat, telephone, a bizarre requirement to provide photographic proof of the wrong item, labels and invoice (which they had access to themselves), & many emails (1.5 hours+ of my unpaid time), staff are unable to perform 2 simple tasks: send a return label for the delivery truck to come & get the item & send out the correct product. They are stuck in an "investigation" that could take up to 15 days. This is why Best Buy loses clients to Amazon, who could have resolved this issue in 5 minutes. I will never purchase from Best Buy again. Unacceptable.
