I hired the services of this person (Alex Young) to do my tax return and the dissolution of my corporation. At first it sounded like a great deal as it was the best price but it turned into a nightmare. She tried to do my return in a complete different way. I consulted with other professionals that advised me something completely different from what she was saying. And it was not only one or two but several saying the same consistent response. So guess what...I ended up loosing CAD $300. Not to mention the fact that she kept saying that I was trying to hide something from her when was the opposite; I provide everything that she requested. Reading some other evaluations I noticed that I was not the first one who was treated like trying to hide information. Keep your eyes open with this SCAM.

Alex has done my taxes for the last 5 years and she and her team have been honest and reliable. She started promoting her business by going business to business so I recommended her with my friends in the area, through her business cards and good price. For this year she told me they got really busy so she all of the sudden decided no to do my taxes for me anymore. Very dissapointing to find out there is no loyalty.

This lady (alex) is the most unprofessional, unkind, disrespectful yelling woman I have ever came across in my life. I got duped into her false promotion (she actually charges $35+ for 1 T4, 1 RRSP) and took my papers to her. of-course she wanted the business, she took my papers, I paid the fees and after that she told me- she will prepare them and send me over email to confirm- after that she will e-file them. Odd but I had already paid her by then. She sent me the docs after 2 days (after messaging/ calling her constantly) She MISTYPED my name in the tax return she created and when I asked her to correct with the name which is actually on the T4.. she had the nerve to REFUSE making the correction! like fo real woman??? she mistyped my name, and was giving lame excuses as CRA only looks up the SIN number and not name..Not only that she started yelling at me.. she demanded more $$ to correct her own mistake!!! what a ______! I refused to pay her more and stood on my ground.. guess what- SHE stopped taking my calls, no emails! I had to call CRA to report this and took my papers to an actual accountant, who filed my tax the same day, and guess what charged the same as this ___ charged me.

This was the actual worst service I’ve ever had in my life. The lady charged me for my taxes and never finished them and left them on vancouver island past tax cutoff day. I had to threaten calling the cra to get my tax paperwork back and that’s when she threatened to call them herself saying I’m hiding something. It was so unprofessional. I had to take them to another accountant who finished in a day.
