“This is the most wonderful children’s store. Not only are the art supplies beautiful and high quality but the books and toys that have been curated make the shopping experience so much fun. 10/10 for me!”

“I bought $350 worth of paint 2 1/2 yrs ago. Last summer I opened the black and it had separated and moulded. Another colour has now separated and smells like B.O.?. I have many brands of paints and many that are much older than these Kroma paints and none of them are off. I have used a dry, clean palette knife, put the lids back on immediately. A few other colours need to be stirred every time and a couple others have a lumpy, gelatinous texture so I’m sure they are on their way out too -very disappointed. The only thing I can think of is the room they are in has temperature changes as I turn the heat off at night in my painting room…although, this is the same room the other paints are in as well. These paints are probably fine if you are going to use them right away but I wouldn’t store them.*** I have changed my rating to a 5 now that I have an explanation - thank you! I won’t be cashing in on the free paint offer as it is my fault for not using sooner. I dint know acrylic paint had formaldehyde so this is why I didn’t remove the review - I think the owner’s response is really good info for Kroma paints AND acrylic paint in general. Kroma paints are very highly pigmented but mostly transparent. Using them now and I love them!”

“Fine art printing and framing powerhouse... they are one of the last places in Vancouver that makes high quality fine art and canvas prints in house. All the staff are super friendly and they have a huge binder containing all of the different papers they supply including different kinds of Hahnemuhle and even Arches aquarelle. They put a lot of effort into making sure the print's colours are as close to the original as possible and that is something super important for me. Capture service for non digital art is fantastic and every step of the way was professional. Other options include mounting a print on an aluminum panel or sandwiched with a piece of acrylic which look beautifully modern. The entrance is the red door on the corner - you have to buzz the doorbell to be let in. Lots of street parking and super close to Granville Island if you do need to buy art supplies. Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in reproducing their art!”

“I needed to replace my favorite Maiwa duvet cover after many years and I no longer live locally. I ordered from the website and received my new bedding in just a few days. As always, the quality of the cotton is amazing, the colours are vibrant and rich and the workmanship is stunning. Definitely recommend!”

“Amazing store. Amazing owners, amazing employees. If you are a stationary freak like me this store is like a stationary boutique! 1 million times better then staples and the store smells good. The only downside is there are lots of grumpy elderly people who are proudly looking so miserable walking through the neighbourhood but the happy staff in this shop make up for it.”

“Supporting this shop and its owner, Hale, brings a bit of joy into every framing experience I have - it makes the journey of art a little more special knowing my pieces get to go through their final destination of framing in the thoughtful and safe hands of Hale. Thank you for your lovely service”

“You can find all of your favorite art supplies here! I wish they had more canvas options but the quality they have is great so I can't complain. Arches paper is cheaper here than it is at opus”

“I love art and I love stores, which works out real well ‘cause this place is both. ?The range of quality goods is expectedly spectacular. What truly elevates the store however is the community behind it. The store itself is located in the cultural heart of the city. The staff of creatives are pure class, whose advice is laced with technical and artistic insight. And the number of free workshops they host online (and sometimes in-store) serve to inspire the creative beginner, and give a refresher to seasoned experts.”
