The best place in town for a jewelry repair! I had a great experience with Andy. He knew exactly what was wrong when I showed him my ring I hoped to repair. He was honest and advised me not to try and repair it as it could make the amber setting even more unstable. Super quick, knowledgeable and friendly. Exactly what I have been looking for. This store has been here for 7 yrs. He can change a watch or a car’s key battery in a few mins. Our family has been coming here for the last 7 yrs because of his excellent knowledge.

Having read all the positive reviews I decided to take my clock in to be fixed. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks. I didn't hear anything from Andy so about 6 weeks later I called to enquire if it was ready but he told me he was busy with a customer so would get back to me. I still heard nothing so waited a further 2 weeks before contacting Andy again. I got the same response. Finally I decided to go to the store in person and saw my clock sitting on the shelf in the same place and condition it was in when I initially dropped it off. Andy told me that he couldn't get the part for it and therefore couldn't fix it and to take it home. I took it over to my partner as he said he'd take a look at it and he was able to fix it straight away, no extra part needed. I actually wonder if Andy even looked at it and am disappointed with the service after having such high expectations based on previous comments.

I've had too many issues with this store to continue going there. First of all Andy never wore a mask, even when they were mandated during Covid. Such contempt for his customer's safety was pretty awful. I just had to pick up a few items for repair that he hadn't bothered to fix despite them being there for a month and a half. Clearly other people were far more important. A month and a half and couldn't fix two quick broken bracelet chains. Other past issues~ I once needed an additional piece to lengthen a costume necklace. I assumed an easy fix. He made it sterling and charged me $120. For a simple o ring to lengthen a necklace two inches! I never asked for sterling and would never have agreed to it. Way overcharged because work was already done. Mind blowing. Terrible. But finally enough is enough. My mom and I have been going for years but we are both done. Poor service and outrageous prices no more for us.

Look no further. My Seiko battery changed and installed in exactly 5 minutes and at an unbeatable cost.Fast, efficient, cheap. Very personable fellow at that. And easy free street parking. Definitely my best experience in Vancouver in years!

After having Andy repair lots of my vintage jewellery, my husband and I went to Andy for our custom wedding bands. We are thrilled with the results, and the service is always top-notch. Andy was also able to reset my engagement ring stone from it's original late-1800s setting -- a task other jewellers were apprehensive to take on, due to the antique cut of the stone. Highly recommend!

Needed a battery change for my watch today. It was done in a few minutes although the gentleman was busy with another customer already.It’s nice to have such a professional in the area, will definitely recommend him to all my friends and family.BTW it only cost me 7 bucks, absolutely fair.
