First time visiting this supermarket, and was very impressed, especially their ready made food section. Mrs. Kim made me three banh mi’s that were delicious. Staff are very friendly. I will definitely come back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

This is my first time shopping from this store, I was amazed by the variety of vegetables and fruits they have. No one can match their unbeatable prices for their fresh vegetables and fruits . If it is near to my home for sure i will not go to any market to buy my veg and fruits.

i went to this place to buy forzen beef balls but found out the fridge display 11C, which is way over the 4C or below health law, so i didnt buy it, went to the other location in Victoria drive, but they dont carry the brand, so i went back to this location couple weeks later, hoping the fridge would be ok, but its 12C, so i talk to one of the staff and he said he would talk to someone about it.
and i complain this to health department. i just got a call from the health inspector that he went to check and found two of the fridge were not cold enough so they have to threw away the food in them. for a pretty big supermarket this is rediculous especially they received a complaint and did nothing about it.this can be verified by the health violation report the health department post on line.

Dirty live seafood. All the tilapia is infected with ICK fish virus. Plenty of dead fish in the aquarium. Water is contaminated.

I have always loved 88 but now it’s just over the top with the ready to eat options. Their vegan chic’n salad roll is some of the best thing ive ever eaten. I got the mushroom sauce stuffed tofu at the hot bar today and omg they are so good!! Better than any restaurant food honestly. Pro tip - if you are going to make Bahn mi’s at home buy their house rolls packed in 4’s in produce bags. They are 1000 times better than the Paris Bakery ones they also sell. Don’t forget to pick up Hoang Yen fish cakes just like the ones at the restaurant.

Not your average grocery! I visited to find fermented red bean curd, success, but I found so much more. Staff were very helpful and bahn mi were huge, cheap and delicious. I will certainly return.

I have been looking for a 2/3 item on rice/noodle that is closer and a good deal.
Tried their hot food section. $12 for 3 items compared to $15 for 3 items at richmond public market. There is a 50 cent cost if you want to change to noodle. The noodle is e-fu noodles. The options are less, there are no labels for the items, and the person behind the counter couldn't really explain what some of the dishes are. The portions are less but keep in mind this is $3 cheaper. The dry pork spareribs were really good. There was some tomatoey chicken drumstick that I wasn't familiar with - the sauce is good but many of the drumsticks had broken bones. They only give 1 full chicken wing as a portion and it wasn't that crispy.
There are things to improve on but I would come try again because the price point/portions/location is better for me.

I'm shocked! We typically shop at an Asian store called 88, where we purchased groceries and veggies for dinner, but we left the celery at the counter. That's why I called! However, customer service claims they need to check the camera and wait until tomorrow to resolve the issue. What kind of service is that?!
