DEFINITELY NOT A PLACE FOR OUT OF TOWNERS!!!
Now to be Fair there was a sign that said Private property. Do not enter. BUT another sign that Said OPEN Come on In.
Now that out of the way, I had family come in from Australia and we planned a trip from Vancouver to Banff. On the way, one of the Aussies noticed the Car Museum and being a car enthusiast, he was determined to visit on the way back.
So on the way back, we saw the open come in sign but no body was around. We drove to the back and around the yard. We did see someone working on a vehicle but did not seem to be same yard.
We then noticed sign that said closed at 4:30 pm and it was 5pm. I did not want them to leave without something, so our aussie friend walked up to the gate/fence and took a few pictures of the cars outside. About 3 minutes later, looks like the owner drove up into the lot and started reaming out our friend about crossing the do not enter sign. Our friend apologized and started leaving. The owner kept insulting and going off. Our friend did mention that he was not from here and did not have things like that where he was from. We left, but our Aussie friend did feel bad and awkward.
He said he was not sure of the Gun rules here and just accepted the insults and left. I think he was comparing us to our American cousins. I felt a little bit embarrassed to be a Canadian at this time and let him know that not all of us are like this.
Bottom line, if you are a car enthusiast and have a “Car Museum”. Act like one and treat all that come by as a fellow enthusiast. Not as a criminal.
I see you have been running for 40+ years. Looks like the enthusiasm has worn out. Time for you to pass the torch on this instead of it making a buck!

Really cool stuff in here, so much to look at. Found an old glass Mrs.Butterworth bottle so naturally had to have it, they sell Rust Brothers Tshirts as well. Just a lot to see.I have one suggestion, maybe move the cut out of Mike & Avery in a location people can take their pictures with it?

I was in the area today and decided to stop in and take a look around, it had been years since I came here last, and it was just as awesome as I remembered. A great place run by nice folks.
The shop is amazing, all of the auto memorabilia and antiques, something for everyone to look at. The vehicles, both inside and outside, are all something to see. So much history to appreciate all in one place, it sparked some really good conversation with my son, who was most fascinated by windows that had to be cranked up by hand.
It was a great way to break up our afternoon before heading back home, will be back with the rest of the family the next time we are nearby!

I didn't think it was that great. It certainly had 2-3 very great cars. but that was it. The antique shop had a lot of things, but not really anything for my taste. Admission to see the cars was $15 per person. Far too expensive considering there are so few cars. However, if you want to buy a vehicle in order to restore it, this is certainly great.

Finally went to this place, it was pretty f-n awesome. I love cars but the best part of going there was meeting Thor. Without a doubt the best dog I've ever met, makes it reaaaaallly hard to leave.

The antique mall was nice and a lot of cool stuff. However as a car guy I was deeply disappointed by the “auto museum”. It was a junk yard, with most cars being incomplete rusty junk. They didn’t event maintain the outdoor lots so the weeds were as high as your knees. Stop for the antique mall but don’t waste your time and money on the car museum. To call it a museum is a scam. Nothing in this “museum” will hold a candle to your local cruise in night.
