Had a very unpleasant experience with customer service at this location. My friend got some clothes he wanted to try on and was at the fitting room. Before he even asked for keys to the fitting room or anything an asian lady employee asked "Are you going to buy anything?" He then replied "Yes I have some clothes I want to try on." She then had the audacity to say "No, I don't care, I'm not letting you into the fitting rooms." Me and my friend were then followed by the same worker the whole time we were there.

I was being racially profiled by an Asian lady at the fitting rooms. I had clothing from the store I wanted to try on and I asked to be let in the fitting rooms and she said "I don't care, I'm not letting you in the fitting rooms."

Had a terribly unpleasant experience at Sportschek Guildford Mall today at around 4:30 (dated - 17/11/2023) while shopping for a BMX cycle for my daughter. The attendant's unhelpful demeanor made the purchasing process needlessly complex. Despite having our card ready for a $550 CAD for the BMX cycle, we decided to leave due to the poor service in the cycle section.

Don’t come here if you’re looking for help on getting hockey equipment. Very limited selection in store, staff doesn’t help with heatmolding skates or accurate skate fittings. You’re better off going to a hockey equipment shop that has employees that actually know what they’re doing.

Great customer service.Bought 2 kids bikes last spring .One has few issues , which made me take back 3 times to be fixedOne time after the otherAnyhow , eventually they took it back and gave me store credit because the bike was never good.In other places they would blame you / your kid for the default etc especially in bikes .I always shop there and very happy with their service .

We recently organized a basketball tournament aimed at supporting at-risk youth. The exceptional support we received from the team at SportChek's Guildford branch, particularly their General Manager, Vernon Naresh, played a pivotal role in our youth’s experience. Vernon went above and beyond, personally overseeing the acquisition and delivery of equipment by our event date.From the moment we approached SportChek Guildford with our initiative, Vernon displayed an unwavering commitment to our cause. We were truly impressed with the General Manager’s hands-on approach and personal involvement in the process. This level of dedication and attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations. Staff from Guildford took the time to understand the unique needs of these young individuals and worked diligently to ensure they received the necessary equipment to keep engaged in positive recreation.The entire team at SportChek Guildford exhibited a remarkable level of professionalism and enthusiasm. They were not only knowledgeable about the products and equipment we needed but also provided invaluable guidance to ensure we made the most appropriate choices for our youth.By providing them with the necessary equipment, they were able to participate fully in the basketball tournament, boosting their confidence, fostering teamwork, and encouraging a sense of belonging. My husband was looking for a non slip shoes. We’re both thinking we could get one in sports chek, I thought they are selling all kinds of shoes, but they didn’t that’s why I give 4 star. The sales lady who help us was friendly and didn’t waste our time looking for what we need, she even suggest Mark’s and Shoe Company. Sports stuff go to sports chek, it is located in Guildford under ground.

Only one person helping with grabbing shoe sizes , the guy was helpful but he had too many people to help at the same time . Had to wait 15 min to grab my size . Management should look into this . People are paying so much money they need more people working .

Poorest customer service, it’s clear that they’re owned by Canadian Tire. My kid asked the associate if they sold Heely’s - only to get told that they have them in the back, made him waste his time looking for it at the rear of the store instead of offering him a size for them to bring to him. Usually, this place always has its staff gathering at the register gaggin’ lollies.

Great products delivered with great service. I have great experience all the time. Jovan Tatla was great—he showed a lot of patience and professionalism. He was working alone. It was a busy time. He tried to his best to help me find the shoes I liked. Esha at the check-in was equally helpful. I have been in the hospitality industry for the last 11 years. My mission is to uplift service culture by empowering people (including my teams and anyone who is in the service industry) so I understand it is not easy to be motivated all the time. That's why I take time to appreciate those who are doing great to inspire them to continue the good work.
