Phuong is the best hairstylist I know. My whole family has been going to her for over 7 years. My boys grew up with her styling their hair. She always does an awesome job whether cutting, colouring, or highlights. She's very detailed and takes her time to make sure we're satisfied with her work.

I got Caramel Highlights done at this place and the staff member doing my hair did a good job but she recommended me Purple Shampoo and Conditioner even though my hair is not blonde. (I don't know her name) It was Caramel Highlights and now my hair is golden brown almost like a blondish. Btw, this was back in August 2018.

My first visit to Smartstyle Hair Salon. My hair cut was done by Jana. She did a fabulous job. She washed my hair thoroughly and then cut it to desired length and got them blow dried.I was very happy with the way she waxed my eyebrows with perfection. The pricing matched to the service I was given. I would definitely go again :)

I have been coming here for years to get my hair trimmed. I normally get my hair cut done by Mae, Phong, or Lee (they are phenomenal!) but they weren’t available so Janna the other hairstylist had to cut my hair. It was a terrible experience from start to finish! I had asked to get a wash and style, trim and tone done. When I arrived, she said I shouldn’t get toner done on my hair because it will damage my hair (which is untrue, only bleach does) and that my hair color was fine the way it was. I was very unhappy about that because I really wanted to tone my hair that day!Second, when she was washing my hair she got water all in my ears, she was very rough washing my hair and it hurt! Also, when I was leaning back to put my head in the sink she kept pushing my back back. Instead she could’ve asked politely to wait to put my head in the sink.I had asked her to get rid of the stringy hair” on my head because it looked frizzy and damaged. She did not cut it off. She kept asking me if I wanted layers when I specifically said I do not want layers and just 2 inches cut off. When I had my head up, she would use her fingers to push my head down so she could cut my hair. She also did the same thing when my head was down. She pushed my head up on my forehead. What the hell!!!!Do not book with JANNA! She is unprofessional.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I have been going to this SmartStyle for over 6 years. Today was a gong show. I made an appointment for color. The girl who was new was 1/2 hour late. She had no clue how to apply the color. The other hairdresser said I was being too picky. Then when she rinsed and washed my hair she soaked my dress because they said I wasn’t sitting in the chair correctly. OMG they then yelled at me. This was a 70.00 job and when she dried it she looked like a child trying to dry my hair. I finished it myself. Paid with no tip and left in tears. This was supposed to be an enjoyable experience. NOT. Do not go here if you want a good job.

First visit: nice owners and great haircut. I think I trust themEDIT: all downhill from here:Second visit: very hasty low quality. Expect much more for 30$Third visit: they closed 15 minutes before store closing timeThe next day 4th visit: they said no walk ins because too busy. Waste of time. Went to another place MUCH BETTER cut and price
