I went to Sleep country Strawberry hill location a few months ago. The sales representative named Vera attended us and tried her best to sell us their product. I Suffere from back pain and ask for firm/ hard type of mattress. She sold us one and bragged so much about the quality of the mattress saying that don’t worry all the mattresses have 100 nights to try. If you don’t like it, you are welcome to return the item. Given so much reassurance, i purchased a mattress for $1600. After sleeping two months on it, it turned into a soft and unbalanced mattress. Wow! That was their best quality mattress which couldn’t keep its quality for two months. We went there again and asked for refund which i was denied immediately saying that you can only exchange. Great i picked another one and asked will i have 100 nights to test the quality of the mattress sine the first one was absolute disappointment, she said sorry! You had 100 nights to test just on the first purchase. When i asked her that why didn’t you explain it the first time? She started yelling and shouting on us and started crying that you are holding me accountable. Its not my fault!!!! I really don’t know who’s fault it is to falsely represent compay’s policies. What an absolute disgraceful, disrespectful and unprofessional way to deal with the customer. Safe your time and money and invest somewhere else. As these people are here to trap you and take money out of your pockets. Sorry for the long review but i hope i can safe some people.

My husband and I bought a memory foam mattress and frame last year. Very long story short this bed was NOT for us while our sales guy at the Langley store was nice he sold us a bed that was not suitable for our needs. When it was delivered they tried to sell us a cheaper frame that was not aggreed on. So we refused the delivery, then after some time and talking to the sales guy he came back and said he had told me what frame it was before I bought it which was not true. Anyway he eventually came back and said he would be able to match the price and that the bed would get delivered asap. When the bed came we normally sleep in a cold room, the delivery guy made a comment about how cold it was in our room and that this mattress might not be a good idea. Well he was right it was horrible, we called the sales guy the nest day and after weeks we got a new mattress but they REFUSE to take back the frame. After months and weeks of trying to resolve this I asked to speak with the Reginal Manager but after months nothing. They kept saying hes on vacation etc and no one EVER contacted me. So we are out a few thousand dollars! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! Look at their reviews wish we did! We have a frame bed that we dont use and can not even sell and lets not forget no one told us these frames are final sale. This is an adjustable bed with out a memory foam bed its just an expensive waste of a mistake. Never in my life I ever had a company that just stopped answering emails. WATCH OUT!!
Tanya I have sent several Facebook messages as well as emails NO one has responded back! I have been waiting for the regional manager to contact me since December 2023 and still nothing. Deaf ears!

I bought a mattress from Sleep Country, Strawberry Hill about a year ago and have been debating for a bit if I should post this review. I think it's been enough time for me to comment on my experience.
I didn't know much about buying mattresses at that time so I went to sleep country, thinking I'll be getting good advice and a good quality mattress. The representative was quite "pushy" with his sales approach and boasted about how good they were over other stores like Ikea or JYSK. I was told that I get a 100 day exchange warranty and I can exchange the mattress as many times until I'm satisfied with the purchase. It was only that promise which made me decide to stretch my wallet a bit and purchase one over my budget. My back hurt badly after a few days of using it so I called about getting that mattress exchanged.
A different rep handled me this time, and to my shock told me that only one exchange was allowed and if I didn't like the mattress again, I would have to keep it. When I explained that I was told about exchanges being allowed until I'm satisfied, I was told that the previous rep had told me incorrect information and that there's nothing he could do and that that I should have checked their website.
Grudgingly, they made me exchange my (brand new) mattress for a used one telling that since this is the final and only allowed exchange, this is a much higher quality one at a fair price and that this won't give me trouble. However, my back pain continued to hurt and this time, I wasn't allowed to exchange it either leaving me stuck with nothing more than junk sitting in my space.
I can't recommend them with any conscience and recommend staying away from them. While it may seem like they've a big selection, you'll likely be better off somewhere else. The reps have a "car sales guy" vibe to them where they're more interested in making a sale, openly making false promises without hesitation, taking advantage of new buyers.

Brought a king-size mattress in 2021. We're not "hefty" mattress has already dipped over 2inches. Process to make a claim requires dismantling mattress to the bed frame to take photos and is impossible for a single person. Very disappointed and now having to purchase another mattress, elsewhere ?

My wife and I just bought a mattress, sheet set, and a mattress cover from Simer at this Sleep Country. We received exceptional service from Simer that exceeded our expectations. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with us. He wasn't pushy and took the time to figure out our needs, making us feel comfortable with our purchase. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend buying a mattress from Simer. It felt like we were interacting with a friend. If I could give him more than a five-star rating, I would. :)

Had a very good experience with sales person James , bought two king size mattress , loved the experience , he was so calm , knowledgeable, friendly and provided with best offer and explained each and every thing soo clearly had a wonderful experience .

If I could give more than five stars I would. David and his college went above and beyond with their customer service. As a student buying my first time bed, they made it so easy. They did not rush me, push me or upsell me in anyway… in fact they spent lots of time with me just to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Two days later I came back and decided to invest in another pillow (while already having four from here previously, that have lasted years). Sleep country is definitely the one shop I will always trust when it comes to sleep, mattresses and pillows. A big shoutout to David for helping me find the most amazing deals in my budget to ensure I could walk away happy with what I love.

Went to sleep country to get a new bed . James was the best!!! Went threw the whole process with him and picked the perfect bed for me and girlfriend .... This man knows what he's talking about ... go see him if you want a bed!!! He deserves a raise!!!

I wish there is no star. But any ways pl don’t buy anything from sleep Country as they have zero percent return policy. I got mattress from them first time and now i am regretting. Now the mattress is fully visible body impressions but company said send us the photographs and measure the impressions with scale. This should be done by company by sending someone over. So pl go to other store and shop from where you don’t have any problem for return.

Excellent service. No pressure sales. Wonderful staff. Bed was delivered on time and properly set up. Highly recommended.
