About Muslim Food Bank and Community Services
Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society (“MFBCS”) is a community based charitable organization since 2010 assisting people facing hunger and food insecurity and advocating self-reliance by providing case management, counselling, emotional support, youth development and capacity building. Through case management and counselling, MFBCS recognizes the challenges that people face in supporting themselves and helps them overcome these challenges by focusing on seven core areas: Food Insecurity, Employment, Housing, Education, Skills Development, Physical and Mental Health Support. Donations can be received at our Surrey office from 8am to 4pm, Mon to Thu and 10am to 1pm on Sat. Richmond office is open Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm.
