Love our new Murphy bed! Shipping was fast considering how large an item it was and the size of the crate. Speaking of the crate, it was expertly packed (I used to build crates in a warehouse). It is an involved process, so you need to be competent builder to do this yourself. I was able to complete the entire process by myself so I can be done by 1 person although the manual suggests having help. READ THE MANUAL! This is a project that needs you to pay attention to the manual, trust me. Overall, it turned out to work exactly what we wanted.

The unit looks great and works very well. The quality seems sound, the pieces fit seamlessly into one another. The instructions, both the written booklet and the online videos, are very detailed. But if you are not handy with tools/renovations, I would think twice about setting this up on your own. I consider myself very handy...and it took me around 2+ days in total for a queen bed and 2 wall cabinets with a desk extension. Leveling is crucial, yet most floors are not level. The bed cabinet needs to be a perfect 'square' set against the wall in order for the bed to fit properly into it. I chose to remove the base board and cut new pieces to butt cleanly up against the bed. I also went a bit beyond the instructions, securing the cabinets and the bed to one another. All this makes for much cleaner lines between the units, which I would highly recommend if you are a stickler for detail.

We ordered a queen size Murphy Bed so we could have more useable floor space in our spare bedroom. We found it was very easy to design our bed configuration on their website. I was very surprised when we unpacked the shipment of our bed. The way the bed pieces were packaged for shipment was top notch. Every piece was wrapped to protect the finish and arrived in perfect condition; every piece of hardware was clearly marked. The assembly videos that are supplied on their website are put together very well, explaining the process for assembly. I can't say enough about this company, other than, their product is awesome, and their customer service is the best. We are very happy with the Murphy Bed. Thank you for a great product.

I wish I could give a negative score.
Please save yourself the awful trauma this product will cause.
I thought they would pre drill all the holes as you spend thousands on this thing. They do not.
Sometimes they do. Sometimes they don't.
The metal grommets you have to install? Good luck. I bent so many of them because the hole was too small.
Door for the hutch? Oh yeah those didn't have door handle holes.
I thought they would give you proper instructions. They do not.
It's confusing, and awful to deal with.
Springs? How many do you need? Who knows? Not the instructions manual that's for dang sure.
I thought sure it will be a pain, but as long as it's got the parts and instructions it will be like IKEA assembly. It was not.
Like IKEA they give you too many parts.
Unlike IKEA, they don't give you the tools to build the thing. I got a cheap 20 stand that came with a screwdriver, this thing oooohhhh noooo. You need spare change, specialty tools, and the mental fortitude of a saint.
It says Two days to install, with two people. It is not. It took 6 friends and two weeks of slowly picking away at what we could understand to build this stupid thing.
I regret buying this.
Don't do it.

Would definetely buy from here again. Great product and on schedule. Only reason for not giving 5 star is due to no installation team offered and was a bit more complicated to assemble than I had hoped. But happy with it now that it's in place.

Loving this full-size Murphy bed with a 16"wide cabinet on the left and 20"wide cabinet on the right. I was on the fence regarding the light kit, but so glad we included that option. We ordered after market USB-A/C power units on each side and a pull-out hanging bar for hanging clothes in the larger cabinet. The cabinets are not deep enough for standard hanger bars. Keep in mind the type of hanging bar we installed only works in cabinets that are at least 20”wide. Instructions are easy to follow, and the on-line videos are fantastic! Our only complaint is that there are no leveling glides, so be prepared to use shims if you want multi-piece units to look like a single millwork piece.

We researched Murphy beds and decided on Murphy wall beds, the custom build option was perfect for us to get a system that would fit perfect on the desired wall.
The order process is super easy. Once ordered the bed arrived very quickly considering we are in Florida, about as far from BC as we could get. The crate and packaging were well made and kept our bed protected
I realized that I had made a mistake and ordered the wrong Leg height, They were able to correct my order. Great customer service. Oh and they actually answered the phone.
Assembly was time consuming but went smoothly because they offer a fantastic series of you tube videos to guide you through the process.
Final product looks amazing and I’ve very solid and well made. Highly recommend the company.

I love my new Murphy Bed! Everything about the online purchase met and exceeded every expectation. They are a very customer oriented business. The delivery was timely with no damages to the individual components, the custom assembly directions and the videos were clear to follow, I couldn’t have had a more positive experience.

The entire process of selection, order and shipment was excellent. We assembled ourselves. Good documentation and video of the assembly. I think ended up taking 5 man days to assemble so it’s a commitment. I didn’t look into paying for installation but can appreciate labor could be equal to the material.
Impressed with the quality and look forward many trouble free years of use.
Would definitely recommend this product!

I ordered a Murphy Bed directly from the company on August 26 based on the website offer of 20 percent off-which of course was touted as a great sale price. Later that week, after my order had been placed, the company offered 30 percent off. I requested a refund of the difference, which is a not insignificant $300 plus. The company refused a refund. In light of the fact that identical products are available from other vendors, I recommend those considering a purchase use a company with better customer service.

It was a well made Murphy bed and quality parts. Overall it works well and looks amazing in the room.
The reason for one less star is it took a carpenter 16 hours to bed, so is very complex steps to build it.

Excellent quality. Make sure you have space to layout all the parts, it’ll make it a lot easier to build. Fit and finish were exact. Definitely a two person build. The springs install was the hardest part. Would highly recommend this bed.

This bed was easy to put together. All the predrilled holes were in the right place. The fittings were tight. After doing IKEA furniture I was impressed. I did get the unfinished maple so was made of real wood. I got the cabinet to go with it, again all parts were solid. I would highly recommend this bed.

We had the bed delivered, and unloaded the contents o Parking level 1 in our tower. The employee that delivered the bed was excellent.
I had a watched the online instruction videos a couple of times and had a pretty good idea of what was going to be involved in assembly. There was also a thorough manual on assembly that was included. I had a lot of time to assemble and didn’t rush. The middle section that houses the mattress went up first, and secured it to the wall. The spring mechanism was a little tricky but watching it done on the YouTube video helped. The side cabinets and drawers were pretty strait forward. I assembled everything myself but of course needed help with mounting the bed frame to the spring mechanism. What a fantastic product, I enjoyed building it. It was very well designed and the hardware to assemble was great. I would recommend Murphy Bed , really a great product.

The idea is great, the finished product is great too. My only two gripes are 1. the shipping was absolutely horrendous. The delivery guy was super dice and helped bring it up to the top of my driveway and even offered to let me examine the crate and all the damage inside the box truck to see if I wanted to refuse delivery due to damage. I was in a time crunch to have my room put back together so I accepted delivery and snapped the attached photos. Honestly, I should've refused delivery and have a new crate sent. 2. is that because of the shipping damage the panels have a ton of damage from paint scrapes to chunks of wood missing. I DIY'd it enough to put it together. 3. I would suggest that the spring assembly to the two folding plates be done by the manufacturer and not the installer. I had to use specialized tools to get the springs to assemble correctly (ones the average DIY'er or homeowner own). Overall, I am pleased with the product, I just wish I wouldn't be dealing with missing paint, the hassle of the parts sliding out of the crate due to shipping damage, and the needed assistance of special tools to assemble.
