Visited recently for a punctured tire, the receptionist/manager was acting very cold and uninterested in his job. Acting like he was doing charity by doing his job which he gets paid for. Bad customer service.

Highly recommend this Kal Tire. Recently got my vehicle back from these guys nd I must say that I was really impressed with the Customer service here.Super friendly people. And I didn't feel like they were trying to Upsell me on more and more things, that maybe I didn't need.Sometimes when a shop calls you back, They have a whole list of things that are wrong with your vehicle, apparently.And what you thought you were going to go in for, all of a sudden now you have a grocery list of Items that apparently need fixed.And so, These guys... They called me up and said, hey, this is what you need.And that was it.I was actually kind of shocked.I was waiting for the rest of the items like they're always seems to be.Really appreciated the Honesty that they provided and Like I said, I didn't feel like I was being sold a bunch of stuff thatWould highly recommend if you are looking to get some work done on your vehicle, these guys are very straight up and honest.unfortunately very hard to find in the world of vehicle mechanics.So Thank you, really appreciate it and I will be back.

Don't advertise free air pressure checks if you don't intend to follow through!I came twice in a week to this location to get my tire pressure checked and both times left after waiting more than 20 mins.When I went to the person at the counter each time, they would dismissively say that they don't know how long it will take. So, technically, they're not denying you the free check, but saying that you may have to wait your entire lifetime to get it.

Classic Indian Hospitality. Would give 0 stars if Google allowed. The guy in the front had me waiting for 5 minutes before outright refusing to provide service. Pathetic

Truly disappointing and stressful experience at this Kal-Tire location. When I got back in my car after a seasonal tire change it was reeking of burnt clutch (a smell that didn’t full go away until the next day), and the alignment they did was so bad I had to turn around after about 3 blocks of driving to get them to “fix it”. Manpreet (I believe), to his credit, at the front desk was understanding and got it back in to redo the alignment which was an improvement but clearly not perfect. Annoyingly I only had so much time and if they couldn’t get it correct on the second attempt I don’t think they ever would. My clutch feels noticeably worse the day after, with the burning smell reappearing in reverse and second gear specifically. Be wary if you have a manual car as there is no indication they know how to drive them here. Attached is a video of the on centre driving position after initial “alignment”.

Satisfied serviceThey suggest alignment for everyone for some reason behind it not very well sureWith my case they’re ready to break down my warranty on tires if in would've not done alignment that little scary so ended up accepting it tho I drive normalShould change the game maybe ?But yeah got my car oil change done I believe was done proper thanks

After our last flat tire repair, my wife's sunglasses went missing from my car after I picked it up! They said they checked the cameras but I'm not convinced because it was there before I dropped my car off. Sadly, I can't trust this location with my car anymore.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this tire shop, and I feel compelled to share my experiences to protect others from falling victim to their dishonest practices.I went in for a routine winter wheel swap and dropped off my vehicle with no issues. About an hour later, I received a phone call from the shop indicating that my alignment was very off, and it would be incredibly difficult to replace my tires with my winters without causing damage to them. As a female with very limited knowledge regarding cars, I probed what was wrong with the alignment, and the gentleman noted that it was out of spec and made it seem like fixing the alignment was urgent so I accepted them fixing the alignment. As I just recently moved to BC six months ago, I completed two vehicle inspections (one before moving in my home province and one a month later to complete the required BC inspection to register my vehicle) which is why I thought it was odd that my "out of spec" alignment was never picked up during either of these inspections.When I picked up my vehicle, I asked for the alignment sheet and noted that they did very minimal changes to my alignment. I showed my roommate, and he indicated that the alignments the mechanics completed were absolutely minimal and were not required as urgently as the shop made it out to be. However, I took the $100 loss as a good learning lesson to always probe further when something seems off, and if your gut is telling you it is, there is nothing wrong with taking your car to another shop for a second opinion. To other individuals with limited car knowledge, I urge you to not let yourself fall victim to being taken advantage of by car mechanics if you feel like they’re using technical jargon to pressure you into unnecessary and potentially very costly repairs.

A special shoutout to the manager ( AV Dhaliwal ) on the floor who skillfully delegated tasks, ensuring a smooth and quick workflow. The crews worked together seamlessly, demonstrating a high level of teamwork to get my car ready promptly.I want to express my gratitude to the entire team at Kal Tire King George for their outstanding service. They got comedians in this place.Called the shop about 30 mins before my arrival, asked if they have time to fix a puncture asap as it was on the way of my destination. They said yes we can work on it when I arrive. I get there and mr desk boy basically tells me they're full and that I need to book an appointment. He then asked me if they can do a pressure check on all 4 tires. I declined and almost laughed because I know they'll overcharge for something such a simple task.Anyway, I had my tire fixed up at another shop for half the price. It was done within 15 mins of my arrival there.
