We visited the Honeybee Farm Centre yesterday afternoon around 5:30 PM, excited to pick up some honey and enjoy the charming environment. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Upon entering, we were immediately informed by the man working there that they were closing in 10 minutes. While it's understandable that we needed to shop quickly, the manner in which this was communicated was very unfriendly and abrupt.
As we browsed and selected two jars of honey, we asked him about the different flavors, only to receive a rude response: "They're all honey, and we're closing in 10 minutes." Another family was there as well, and they received the same dismissive attitude. When we inquired about samples or their working hours, he simply repeated that they were closing, making it clear he wasn't interested in providing any customer service.
It was evident that this person was not the owner, as he seemed indifferent to how his behavior might affect the customers' experience. It's such a shame that a place as beautiful as this was marred by such a negative encounter. Customer service should be a priority, especially in such a lovely setting.

I’ve never been but I think it’s only fair to help offset the 1 star reviews from people who don’t understand how honey crystallization works. I look forward to visiting and buying some honey.

One of my favourite places to get honey. It has been here for decades since I was a teen, and I hope they continue to provide fantastic honey for many years to come!

Visited for the first time on the holiday Monday and walked into see the floor being covered in water. The girls were vacuuming and mopping up all the water the best they could while still happily answering my questions. Hope they got compensated well for all that extra cleaning.. that’s no way to spend a holiday ?

We came with the kids to check out the honeybee festival. We had a fun time. The most impressive part was the bee beard! Certainly a sight to behold.
You get to taste the different types of honey before you settle on one, so that's a nice touch.
There is limited parking, so be early and be patient. Aside from the bee beard, there were also some stands to buy local items, along with food trucks and some other activities for the kids!

Great place to pick up all of your HoneyBee needs. There's a variety of different honey's and honey sticks...there's beeswax for candle making...there's soap and lots of gift items made from beeswax. It's nice and cool inside if you want to get out of the heat for a bit and it smells so nice too. Don't forget to check out the live honeybee display ! Kids love it !

So, unfortunately i had to post this review with 2 stars. The reason behind this rating is the tall guy (store attendant or manager etc) who was impatient and had a sassy demeanour when all i wanted was some information on the honey. I get it that it was 15 minutes before closing time but this in my opinion was not an excuse to be impatient and render sassy responses. I come to this place because its local and the honey is amazing. That being said the experience is complete when the people serving you are customer oriented & patient. And this big guy was anything but, he seemed tired of his work and not happy to be there.
