Luckily their still around after many years in business. The other location in Richmond closed! It’s a very large place stocking all kinds of different stuff for sewing ? needs. Walmart’s sewing section closed a long time ago. Thx

This is my go-to place for any fabrics needs. With their membership, one can benefit from regular discounts on a wide variety of fabrics and other sewing necessities.

NO BATHROOM FOR CUSTOMER USE! Staff should at least be able to provide directions to the nearest location, but no. Lots of fabric selection but too far. I only go there as last resort. Michael's and 2 quilt shops in Cloverdale are much closer.

Regular prices are out of this world even with a membership.
Why would I pay 6.99 for an invisible zipper when I can pay 2.99 - 3.25 for the exact same zipper.
When notions are 50% off that's even better

Not recommended to anyone. Workers here are so arrogant except the lady which is just in front of entrance door.
As they saw we are muslims, ladies on tables were not even answering us. After answering this is what they said.
First, I asked a lady working here (Excuse me, can you help us with these clothes?) and she said (sorry I can’t answer that question).
Second, I got some clothes and brought them up to the table they were measuring, one lady sent me to another table and when I went there she said go back to that table. We went back to the first table and that lady just said (sorry I need to have a break) and she left.
I just left all the stuff I had chosen and left the store.
It really makes me sad how some people behave, even in Canada.

My wife's shop for her sewing needs. Yesterday she found material to make short pants. She makes them for Operation Christmas Child, that go in the Boxes sent out at Christmas time.

It’s a smaller fabric store compared to Fabricana, so the variety is limited. The organization isn't great either.

Lady who answered the phone is very sarcastic and passive aggressive when all I asked was a simple question. Made me feel like I was asking a stupid question.

The staff were incredibly helpful and took the time to help me pick materials as well as guide me through quilting techniques. I would recommend this store to everyone

I came here yesterday with my energetic, excitable, and loud fourteen month old son in a stroller. I'm trying to get back to doing some projects that I planned for a while. We walked around the store and my little guy would point and shout at basically everything he saw, especially the balloons. He loves going shopping with me but is nearly always quite loud. As I looked for the fabric I wanted, I resorted to carrying him around on my hip while chatting with him about the things that he was seeing--he loved all the colors and wanted to touch everything, which I attempted to prevent to the best of my ability. Anyway, I wanted to thank the ladies at the check out who were a huge help while I applied for a membership and paid. One of them even held my little guy, while the other chatted with him while I got sorted. Also, the lady who was cutting my fabric was a big help too. My brain is so fried these days that it's hard to figure out what amount of fabric I needed and she, very patiently, did the calculations for me and gave me some advice, all while making funny faces and chatting with my toddler. All these positive interactions (almost) helped offset the very negative interaction I had with two other staff, who were clearly irritated by us. One cringed and made a face as we walked by, and another was stone faced and cold when my guy started to cry because a fabric roll accidentally fell on him because he grabbed it as we strolled by (he was fine). In both instances I made an apologetic comment but was met with intense unfriendliness. I wanted to leave right then and there. So glad I didn't because in the end I was able to leave the establishment feeling supported and excited to begin my new project...at some point. A note to the unfriendly staff: please be more tolerant of kids. I know it can be hard when they are loud like that, but we were all kids at some point. You don't need to go out of your way like your colleagues, but please work on your overall demeanor.

Pretty helpful staff. The assistant manager knows her stuff.
