Came in on Boxing Day looking for a new snowboard set up. Joe helped me out with everything. Man’s knew his stuff, throwing facts right left and centre. Joe deserves a raise for sure! #joeforpresident

My wife is a skiing beginner, and we wanted to buy her a ski. We went here, and spoke to the staff. I repeatedly emphasized to the staff that my wife (height 165 cm) is skiing for the second time and is a complete beginner. He recommended an Armada ARW 164cm ski. At the time, we didn't know how to choose a ski, so we trusted their advice and even recommended the store to several friends. However, when we actually went skiing, the instructor seriously told us that this was not a beginner's ski, especially for a lady with a height of 165 cm. Despite practicing for a long time that day, my wife couldn't control the ski, and it was far less comfortable than the ski we rented at the resort. The next day, we went back to the store wanting to exchange it for a beginner's ski. To our surprise, the staff replied, "Your skills will improve sooner or later. Just rent a ski for practice for now” i was like excuse me? Why would i buy a ski if we rent?

Rude, and unhelpful.Go anywhere else!Didn’t want me to try boots on then said. “You got a feel, let’s put them back in stock” like less than one minute in.Other stores encouraged me to try both on and walk around.

Went in to try on a few pairs of snowboard boots, for fitting and comfort. Joe, the owners son provided me with excellent customer service. I thought I knew what I wanted, but he came out with a pair of boots from the back that were infinitely better. I would recommend his advice on gear as he speaks from solid experience. The best salesman is the one that knows his product.

EDIT: Happy to say that I went in again recently and had a pleasant and helpful experience with the same guy. Clearly some changes have been made, well done. Looking forward to going there again.I had an awful experience a while ago at the south Surrey location. I went in to browse and ask a few questions. A guy who appeared to be in his 50’s with a shaved head reluctantly helped me. From the start of the conversation he was noticably condescending and shockingly rude. In any case, I asked the questions I wanted to ask and then got out of there ASAP. Never in my life have I written a bad review for a business, but I left just feeling just terrible, almost like being bullied and so this is worth mentioning. That guy should never be working directly with potential customers.I should mention that I have been in a few times before and had a good experience with other employees, hence the 2 stars instead of 1.

We brought our kids in to get them each a pair of pit viper glasses.. we decided to take our business else where after being treated extremely rude and unwelcoming by the man working. Will be buying them online instead of supporting local unfortunately.

The manager charged me full price for a board that was on sale after a set of boots ripped first time of use and were refunded from ride. Had to go in 6 times for the refund as well

Just had my second visit to this store and both times I’ve been there I have had excellent service. The first time I was helped by two young men that went above and beyond my expectations of great service (especially for their age!) and the second time I was in looking for a gift for a friend and the person there was extremely helpful and very friendly.The store is also kept in pristine shape, always looks clean and very well organized.If I didn’t live so far away I would come more often, but at this point I think it will be worth the trip for all of my snowboarding needs next season!

We had a great experience with the staff at this snowboard retail store. The prices were the same as it better than the competition for snowboards and the service was great. We were able to buy boards and bindings and get them put together in a half an hour or so. Chris was a great help, and Tim the owner was also really nice. They were knowledgeable and attentive. The shopping complex has free parking, but you may have to drive around to find a spot if it’s busy. There’s a lot of great shopping and food in the same complex so you won’t be bored while you wait for your bindings to put onto your board.

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would.The kids working there are awesome, super helpful and understand what customer service means.The manager, bald guy, is super rude, condescending and doesn’t care about helping customers who want to be informed about the equipment they are paying hundreds of dollars for. He makes sly degrading comments that will make you feel uncomfortable and insecure. He just wants to make the easiest sale for the most amount of money.Might be time for dad to step down as manager and let his kids run the place.

absolutely AMAZING service, i wish i remembered the name of the guy who helped me and my boyfriend pick out the perfect ski gear and snowboard gear, had an amazing experience! definitely would recommend this place for anyone who wants to buy their own gear! he made us feel sooo welcome, was funny and taught us so much, the workers all knew what they were doing and super helpful! ski and snowboard gear is expensive regardless but it was SO WORTH IT in the long run! cannot wait to continue using our gear through out the years! already had a test run, and we had an absolute blast, the guy helped us pick out the perfect gear that suits our needs and wants, 10/10 best ski shop ive come to!

Great local shop. Friendly & helpful owner & staff. I’ve snowboarded for 30+ yrs and had previously dealt with Comor, Boardroom, Pacific Boarders, etc. when I lived in the city. Very happy we have this gem nearby stocking the brands I like. Less selection obviously vs the West 4th strip but otherwise the shopping experience is spot on. Bought a Burton Step On setup from them this Dec. Definitely recommend & will go back for other needs!
