I went to them on Aug 16 to get an estimate on getting my car fixed after it was rear ended. First the guy at the desk couldn’t find the work order because he was trying to use the phone key pads instead of the desktop keyboard. Anyways, 30 mins later, the order is found, in the meantime they took the pictures and said they would look into the parts and let me know.
Sep 6 they call me back and leave a vague voicemail. Since they’re not open on the weekend, I spoke with them on Sep 10. I spoke with Roy/Ray and he basically told me that they didn’t want to order the parts because what if I don’t show up and get my car fixed by them and they would be out $3k. Someone apparently did this recently so they didn’t feel comfortable also, if they did take the car, it would take them almost a month to fix it…
I’m not sure how long this location has been open for but like how did they do business all these years but if they just didn’t want to work on my car, they could have told me this earlier and not waste 3 weeks to tell me some BS excuse

Window on my car fell out of alignment and the gentleman at the desk jumped to his feet and helped me right it no charge! Saved me from having to do idk what to keep my car safe thank you again!!!!

I've had automotive body repairs done here before and came again recently for an estimate. I highly recommend them for friendly staff, I met with Jilly and Terry. They were kind and active listeners for my needs as a customer. They also keep their office clean and have a working coffee ☕️ Kugeg fully stocked for their valued customers. The week I went there, and got my estimate as well as an enjoyable coffee, was the same week I had also go to other automotive shops for separate matters and I did not find any working coffee bar at any of the other shops (not Boyd). I highly recommend Boyd for your automotive body repair needs. I am a satisfied customer.

I was in a hit and run and the back bumper came undone from the clips and they put it back on for me and didnt charge me. I thought that was very nice of them and even brought my car back right to my door

Above and beyond. That’s how I would title this review. The Team at the Cloverdale location were great to deal with. They understood that as a Contractor I need my vehicle for work so they worked with me and my schedule so that I was the least inconvenienced as possible. Also, the quality of work was top notch. My elderly mother who cannot speak English well had a minor fender bender. I only had the two weeks I was in the country to deal with all the issues that the elderly have. One of which was dealing with repair and insurance of her vehicle.After we initiated the ICBC claim, they took care of everything. From the whole insurance process and repair. They even dropped off and picked my mother up from her home. Friends have checked the car and they reassured me that everything looks great.My mother cannot express her thankfulness at the kindness expressed by this shop. Looking for a glass repair place close to home. Totally forgot Boyd location in cloverdale dropped them a email. They responded promptly and made a same day appointment.Got my car car in and chip repair completed in record time.Unfortunately when I got home I noticed flakes stuck to the window. And the chip repair had a raised bump. That I had to scrap myself to level. Disappointed to say the least if this is the level of quality
