The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the lack of communication that I experienced with Bert's. I dropped off my car on a Friday morning with an appointment for a diagnosis and the mechanics said they would let me know by the end of the day. They also said it would take around 1-2 hours to diagnose it. Right before they were closing they called me saying they couldn't take a look at it yet and that they would call me back on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, I had to call them at the end of the day because I did not receive any calls. The guy that answered said they were still diagnosing it, so I could not have my car until Wednesday. On Wednesday I didn't receive a call from them again. On Thursday I decided to call because I needed an estimate of how much more time it would take to diagnose the problem and to have my car back, since I needed it to go to work. The guy said they were looking for quotes for a TCM replacement and that they would get back to me on Friday.
On Friday, I had to call them again asking for the quotes, but they said they didn't have any yet. I decided to take my car back and fix it with another shop, because unfortunately I was not trusting their communication anymore. They are nice people and I don't doubt that they are competent mechanics, but unfortunately the communication was lacking a lot. I think what happened is that they left my situation at the lowest priority. It would have been nice of them to at least keep me updated, specially when they told me the job takes around 1-2 hours, but I ended up having my car there for a whole week instead.

Amazing guys here. Dropped my rear axle off on friday afternoon and they got it working perfectly by monday at noon. Very tight time frame and they delivered not only ontime but early. These are the only guys i'll be having do my axles and transmission work. They got told me originally Tuesday by end of day and they called me just after noon on monday to let me know it was ready. Will be sending everybody i know that needs differential work done. They gave me options for the bearings needing to be done. They kept me updated on what was happening with it and what the issues were with it. Another shop 2 years ago charged me nearly $700 for one axle shaft bearing. These guys did both and the carrier bearing for less then a grand. Got my jeep back on the road and driving perfectly and best of all QUIETLY.

I was amazed with how great the customer service was on the phone and in person! I was very happy to meet George who helped me with my Ford 4 speed top loader transmission. He took time out to check mine out and explain a bunch about shifter upgrades and share his knowledge. This place is great and very honest. I appreciate great customer service how I received it here!
