So overpriced! Tonic water was 15.99 for 4 bottles 8.99 at the local IGA. TBONE steaks were delicious.

Very good usually, but the other night I was in, and was charged the wrong price for salsa. The cashier was quite rude and impatient, an older gentleman, and not even apologetic while I waited and waited for employee to check the price.
Again, young male cashier was quite rude and unapologetic about Dempsters bread that I returned, since it came up at $5.79 a loaf. There was a tag in front of the bread advertising $2.49 a loaf, which is very misleading. An apology would have been appreciated.

Lines are usually long. Prices are always high. It's nice to have the store nearby for when I need some cold cuts or milk. But locals do the vast majority of our grocery shopping in penticton
