This is probably the least welcoming dollar store I have ever been to. There are multiple signs on nearly every aisle saying things like “Do NOT open packages”, “Do NOT play with toys”, “Do NOT sample products”, “Do NOT put toys in mouth”, etc. I feel like most of this is already self explanatory, and I can understand that this may be an issue with some customers. But to have signs literally everywhere is wild to me. I am not overreacting in the slightest when I say these hand written paper signs are in every single aisle. There are probably at least 30 throughout the entire store. It’s tacky and unprofessional in my opinion. It’s also not very clean or organized. But, they do have many balloons. So I guess that’s something.

They sell expired food and when you complain, they say no refund or exchange
I m not sure what policy they follow with food products but, it doesn’t work for me and I think for anyone else
I never in my life see a place sell expired food even if discounted and they act rude when you tell them it’s expired and they don’t want to even exchange it

Don’t walk in with your kids :) staff is very rude.. I’m surprised that one the employees is still there. She hates kids, she hates parents, she hates her job.. avoid if you can..

At the store on December 4th. Overheard a new employee tell the woman in charge that a debit card transaction did not go through but the customer already left the store. The older woman informed the new employee the error would come out of her pay cheque. This is in direct violation of the Labour Relations Act.I paid the $5.05 for her. Will be filing a report with the Labour Relations board, they need to be investigated.

Terrible customer service. i went in to get some helium balloons and she seemed very annoyed that that’s what i needed. she got mad when i was choosing which colours of string i wanted. while she was blowing up the balloons up i was waiting and watching to see what the balloons were looking like and she told me to leave the store and come back in 10 minutes since “she can’t do it when someone is looking over her shoulder”. i was not looking over her shoulder i was browsing and i would look over every once in a while. she was very rude

We went here to buy some candy and we were greeted by terrible customer service. The employee had a terrible attitude and even got mad at one of my friends because he tried to pay with cash. For some reason they emptied the cash register 10 before minutes closing. We will not be coming back. Terrible place
