Amazing farm market in rural Saanich with a large variety of fresh locally grown produce. Love that so many of their products are unsprayed. Produce is super fresh. Came back near daily on a recent trip to Saanich/Victoria. Lovely country road as well with lots of stands selling flowers and eggs along the way.

Charming storefront with exceptional fresh produce and wonderfully helpful employees who seem to truly care about their customers.
Dan's also has one of the best selections Halloween displays to take photos of your children - particularly excellent as it doesn't require trudging through a mud-pit to access unlike many of the other locations offering photo displays.
Two days ago we visited to take some photos and select a pumpkin to carve as a family; our Daughter fell in love with a 'red orange' pumpkin out in the photo area; but we were disappointed to learn it was actually a 'Red Squash' that was left among the carving pumpkins by mistake!
At 4x the cost (1.99/lb vs .49/lb) it was beyond our budget for a carving pumpkin - but the kind Gentleman at the cash register wasn't about to let my Daughter leave disappointed - he honored the carving pumpkin price as long as we assured him the delicious squash flesh would not go to waste.
We're as excited to taste this beautiful squash as our Daughter is to carve it!
Thank you sincerely for the truly exceptional customer experience - we'll be back sooner than next year for sure!

Fresh produce, delicious jams, tasty back bacon in the freezer section. This place is one of my faves. I always pick up at least 2 samosas.

I have never been disappointed with anything from this market. I absolutely love the fresh produce, and will make a special trip here to stock up rather than go to the chain grocery stores. It's wonderful that we can buy vegetables that have "no spray" on them, especially green leafy ones like kale.
The samosas are some of the best I have ever had, and they never make it home as we can't wait to eat them (in the car lol).

It was my first time there. I was a bit surprised by the price of the strawberries, I have to admit. But what a pleasant surprise, they were delicious and it was worth every penny. My kids enjoyed it every bit. Will be coming back to get more during the season.

Long time customer of this fantastic little market.
However, do NOT buy the frozen pies. I tried the steak and mushroom pie and honestly wouldn’t feed it to a dog! The pie contained three pieces of grey, extremely tough cubes beef, a lot of potato cubes, and almost no mushroom at all along with a grey pap of ground beef (I think). Absolutely disgusting! In all my 80 years I’ve never had a worse pie. The only thing I can say that’s positive about it is that the pastry crust was okay.
