Today I visited the deli to take advantage of a sale and they were out of the salad I wanted but Wen whipped up a fresh batch for me with a smile and other employees were happy to help me find the dressings when I had trouble finding it (hidden behind the chip stand).”

“I love Cridge Pharmacy and have been going to the Fort Street location since they opened. The owner, Jason is amazing; however, I don’t often see him anymore as he has become more operationally focused as his business has grown. Patrick, who has been at Cridge since earlier days is also amazing and I trust the care he gives me explicitly. I have found it challenging to transition my care from him to any of the new staff members as I am used to Patrick. From time to time, I will also go to the Cook Street location as the pharmacist Chris is fantastic, too. Simply put, Cridge — regardless of the location — provides excellent care.”
“While for the most part the staff and pharmacists are friendly and helpful, my last in-person experience was mildly frustrating and uncomfortable.
Despite the College of Pharmacists of BC statement about receiving care that's "free from prejudice and discrimination, respecting the needs of Indigenous...communities" when I went to fill my first prescription at the pharmacy, the first pharmacist's attitude noticeably changed when I said that I also have FNHA (NIHB/Status) coverage. Even after telling her that, she didn't apply it and tried to charge me for my prescription. I had to speak with another pharmacist there to have my coverage confirmed. While the second pharmacist was kind and apologetic, I shouldn't have had to argue for the pharmacy to acknowledge and accept my coverage as an Indigenous person. It made me feel uncomfortable having to explain it three times in front of the whole store.”

Instead of simply giving a quick answer he's willing to break down everything going on with every option for your needs and explain to you all the details of side effects and recommended tips to ensure you can make an informed decision yourself as well as use the medicine right.

After a few months, they seemed to know me, and had a good understanding of my needs.The pharmacists and technicians here are friendly and responsive. They have always communicated with me in a timely and effective way, and have been extremely knowledgeable about my medications and needs. They have filled my prescriptions quickly and treated me and my wife with respect and courtesty, every time we go in.After many disappointing experiences at the larger chains, I will 100% be sticking with University Heights!”
“My vet had ordered special medicine from Victoria compounding pharmacy for my pet mouse. It really helped, but eventually after a couple weeks she took a turn for the worse. I had ordered another course of medicine to pay for and pick up, and when I went in and told them she had passed they said not to worry about it. It wasn’t cheap medicine by any means, and that kind gesture meant so much to me, as well as their ability to supply specialized medicine that my vet had requested. Wonderful service, and very kind and generous people. Also lovely location with interesting curios and antiques from bygone pharmacy days. Would give more than 5 stars if I could ??❤️”
“Akiko was so kind and helpful! I was visiting from the U.S. and woke up with a UTI. My insurance told me I’d have to go to urgent care to get a prescription for antibiotics. Thankfully, I had a hunch that here in Canada, a pharmacist might be able to prescribe simple drugs without an expensive visit to urgent care. Turns out they can! I called View St. Pharmacy, and Akiko said she could help right away. I was so grateful. I was in and out within 30 minutes for $43 ($20 for the consultation and $23 for the Rx).
