Supermarket 2000 @ Richmond BC, very convenient location by bus or skytrain. Outside Free parkings. Fresh meat + produce + wide selection of HK food products but a little bit pricey.

They charged us more for an item and we realized that just after we paid. So we told the cashier that the price was wrong. Her manager went to check the price for us. It turned out that they had the wrong price tag on the shelf. So the manager led us to another cashier lane to adjust the price. Instead of saying "Do you still want the item," she said, "You don't want the item?" It seemed like she did not want us to take the item so she could just process the refund for us without adjusting the price. We told her we did not want the item.
However, she charged us one more time for the item instead of processing the refund. Also, she could not process the refund on the same card that we just used to make the purchase (she made us try a few times on the credit card machine). She wasted our time with her incompetence and her defunct credit card machine. So she gave us back the refund in cash. We waited for a long time for this transaction to complete due to their mistakes. They did not apologize for the wrong price tag on the shelf and for charging us more. There was no standard of service.

When I walk into a strange Chinese woman thinks I'm follow her but I didn't maybe she works in this store but I can tell she is very rude, disrespect, I believe this Supermarket 2000 needs to have good manners. Next time she should be nice doesn't matter how human looks no matter if we are not handsome or not my gosh. hey Supermarket 2000 plz respect human skin I'm complaining as a matter of fact.

The old lady cashier had a very bad attitude, as if she owed her something in a previous life, the one who could speak Cantonese! I went there for the first time today and learned a lesson!

Check meat price after they weight it. It happens that both meats that we bought were charged the wrong price per lb. We even asked the butcher for one of the meat prior to buying and they showed us which meat it was. $0.99 became $2.49 and $3.99 became $4.99. Of course, we didn't realized until we got home and no one pick up when we tried to call. Veggies also went up in price there quite a bit. I think I will skip this place for a while.
