The kiosk had a limited cigar selection. Prices were high for the R&J cigars. The closest retail cigar store was over 7 miles out.

They charged $5.45 for a bottle of Gatorade? And they charge you for using credit cards??? Not only feeling got ripped off, the casher lady gave me attitudes. They didn’t even have pricing tags on most of the items in the fridge or shelves. Interesting business model!

Just tried to buy newspapers from this stand and checking the paper. Then the staff (a middle-aged lady) was extremely rude to me and said I can’t check the paper quality. Then when I was paying, she handed me the machine and I tapped. She looked at it and said it’s credit card and said I need to pay 50 cents extra to cover the transaction fees. There are plenty of other stands available. It’s only 5 minutes walk away from this stall. This is my first time and my last time buying from this store.

The woman working there just tried to shake me down. She refused to sell me 3 lottery (6/49) tickets for $9. She told me if I didn't buy $10 of lottery tickets, she would refuse me sale. I inquired 3 times to sell me $9 of lottery tickets. She refused 3 times. She refused to sell me 6/49 tickets unless I bought at least $10 of lottery 'products' - In the end, she refused to sell me the $9 tickets, because I refused to buy another $1 lottery product. I think this may be illegal. I have called BC Lotteries and lodged a formal complaint against this woman/business and they agreed that this was way offside and they will investigate this company and location.
