Prices could be a lot lower but then Safeway's always been high-priced they have things on sale one day the next day they're right back up where they started from when they just leave them at the lowest price. Look at McDonald's they sell for cheap and they move more maybe you should be more like that keep the prices low.

I can’t thank the team at Safeway Seafair in Richmond enough! I had a last-minute task of filling a concert rider for a show at the River Rock, and I was pretty flustered, to say the least. But the incredible staff here made it a breeze. No less than 8 team members jumped in to help, offering spot-on suggestions and going above and beyond to help me tackle my list. The kindness and expertise they showed made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Huge thanks to the amazing crew at Safeway Seafair – you saved the day!

I stopped there to pick up some water, their selection of water was very limited. They carry only few brands. Overall I noticed many of the shelves were empty. Does not seem like a well stocked store.

It is the only safeway in Richmond now. Never been a go to to get essentials. Obviously because of the prices always higher than other groceries. Only go when I see a deal. Corn in cob .50 cents this week. Meat can be a great deal if you check before you go.

This Safeway is well managed. I had an issue and the manager resolved it immediately. Even though the building is old the store is kept very clean and well stocked. The staff are very friendly.

Being shopping here for more than 30yrs. Staff are helpful , But not overly Friendly,
Except for Shawn, who goes out of his way for clients
Happy This Safeway did not close like so many others d/t it's convience for us

One of the nicer grocery stores in the area, situated close to home.
? Produce has definitely improved over the last few years. It's very easy to come across fresh produce at any Safeway these days.
? I appreciate that they've switched to Scene+. The first Tuesday of every month is Scene+ Member day. And you can rack up even more points if you use one of Scotiabank cards.
