What a scam, just paid $8 for a bag of chips and a bottle of water. They got you on the water because you can't get past security with any bottled liquid, but $4 for a bag of chips, what a rip off ?

I had a bit of time waiting for my flight, and I decided to browse through the books by my gate. The Philippino manager was extremely rude to me and made a scene about me looking through the books. This just shows how lowly the culture of this store is and how they only value making money over all else. No wonder your store is always empty!

Water is definitely overpriced. $3.99 for the smallest size one. That being said, if you like soda it's only $2.79 or even sparkling water is cheaper at $3.69. At least tap water is drinkable in Canada so you are encouraged to bring an empty water with you through security and then fill it up on this side. Great selection of books at decent prices! Many in the $15 range and Relay offers a buy back program.

Just a last min shop or convenient shop before flying out. Yup the expensive premium convenient shop. Well at least its bright, nice and clean inside. They sell mostly snacks and magazines. They now have books as well. Guess those must be the popular books. If you need necessities or essential items on the plane like a neck pillow, you can find them here. They also have some last minute souvenirs items like shirts, hats and etc. This is a pretty big store.

Charging over $4 for a small bottle of water is just insane. At the same time you're not allowed to bring your own water beyond the security gates. Shame on you YVR.
