Refused to take responsibility for damage + hidden fees.The movers put a massive dent into our wall during a piano move (the instrument is scratched as well). Understandably, this happens. But instead of acknowledging it they tried to leave quickly before we notice. It was hard not to noice, given the size of the dent and scattered damage around. But when we brought it up the movers' response was "You were underquoted for this, it was hard".The owner said "he'll talk to the guys" and send me a claims form. Did not receive any updates on either - it's been over a month.I was provided a quote based on a video of our residence. I've specifically confirmed there are no additional fees to what's listed (the quote stated Price + Tax). Lo and behold there's a fuel surcharge billed in the final invoice. Conveniently, at 7% (to make it look like a PST, which it is not). When I asked the owner why there additional fees that weren't mentioned on a quote his response was that "quote says price + tax" and the charge is "like a tax".Naturally, no compensation offered for neither the damage, nor the hidden fees.It would cost me half to have our regular movers, who transported all our other stuff and furniture (without a scratch!) to move the piano as well. But I wanted to ensure it was done by someone who specializes in piano moving to prevent damage. Clearly these guys are not it!P.S.Impressive level of dishonesty, unprofessionalism and disrespect in owner's response below. Presumably I was warned there would be damage and agreed to it (what?!); moving pianos (400lb, not 600lb) is indeed hard, but this is exactly the service the company advertises; the "very tight turn" was also on video of course, based on which the quote was provided. I was obviously present the entire time, though i indeed did my best to stay out of the way and not rudely breathe down movers' necks. Then some personal attack on me and my husband (a weird thing to make up, I presume just to make me look like a bad human...but even then, not sure what the relevance would be to the quality of their service). Apparently, they couldn't find me 5 meters away, though I was "present-enough" to confirm where to place the piano and pay the bill.. which was, but the way, accompanied by a light conversation with the movers and them throwing friendly suggestions for a tip ... all while still failing to mention the damage (impressive they have the audacity to do that!). My husband noticed the damage when they guys were half-way out of the house.No contract was provided, unless the owner is referring to a short blurb on the INVOICE, which only covers damage to items being moved (i.e. the piano). They obviously never offered to fix the damage (otherwise I wouldn't be writing this), but they did say "We know a guy who could probably fix it for $80-$100" (... thank you but no thank you: (a) the company should be responsible for a damage they cause (b) given the level of honesty at this point, we preferred to go with a formal claim. No claim form was sent (checked both inbox and junk diligently for a week). However, if the owner forwards a copy of the original email along with full email header/server log, I'll gladly adjust my review.

Very happy with Dale and crew. Super heavy piano moved up and down stairs and I could see they took safety seriously and were careful and thoughtful. Very good communication and straightforward. Highly recommended.

The movers arrived on time, with blankets to wrap the piano and mats to protect my floors. Good value piano movers. These guys were friendly, accommodating and professional!

Just finished helping us move. They arrived on time, were super friendly and helpful. Finished everything in about four hours (disassemble, reassemble, and moved a mini grand piano). Definitely would use again if moving.

These guys were great! We put in a last minute request for help with a move and they sent 2 incredible workers, Bo & Qays, who made the move so quick and enjoyable!Brought moving equipment that was so helpful and were very conscientious and careful to not damage anything in a move into a high rise. Can’t thank them enough for making the move effortless and actually enjoyable, and were so personable. Best money I’ve spent on a move! Highly recommend!!

They were great in moving our piano within Vancouver! Just as their name, super quick and careful plus being super polite. Got the job done like a breeze!It took a bit of effort confirming the date for the move but i'm glad i stuck with Quick and Careful! They were awesome once the booking was confirmed!Highly recommend and willing contact again in the future!

DO NOT USE QUICK AND CAREFUL! We booked them, moved all of our stuff into the lobby of our apartment for their arrival time, then they didn't show up. Called them repeatedly, no answer. Got an email reply 5 hours later saying that they had never confirmed our booking because our request 'was lost in the email chain', despite the fact they told us they would book us in. They didn't even apologise.But then seeing the other reviews, it looks like we dodged a bullet by not using Quick and Careful!

We contacted this company to remove and old and very heavy piano to the landfill. The movers were polite, considerate and extremely efficient, with attention to the potential for damage to my walls in moving this tricky and unwieldy piano. They were also the best quote we found. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.Service: Oversized-item moving

I wish I could give quick & careful moving 0 stars. Please never give these people your money.I wish I had done more research before I made the decision to give galaxy moving & storage/quick & careful moving moving a call. I decided to give these guys a shot because I needed to have our furniture picked up on one day, stored, then redelivered three days later. The pick up wasn't too bad, as they only broke one thing, an electric heater. The redelivery/storage was much worse. The movers damaged our sofa, completely ruined our coffee table, scuffed up our walls and banged up a computer chair. They noticed that our sofa was damaged so they took pictures and told us that they would give us a call the following Monday. Lie. After days of waiting, we called them back, multiple times. Never heard back from them. We decided to try and reach quick and careful as they told us that they were "the same company" and that one handled storage, and the other moving (or something to that effect). We were told to email them, and we did. Once again, we hear nothing back. When we were lucky enough to reach someone, they said "I'm so sorry, we'll email you immediately". Another lie. I decided to call once again, and this time, try to reach a manager/supervisor. The guy that answered said he was one, and when I told him my problem, he told me to email a completely different email than the one I was previously given. So once again, like an idiot, I try to get some sort of response to no avail. It is clear to me that these guys are a bunch of unprofessional, money hungry liars, who will avoid you at all costs if you try to get some sort of reimbursement from them (due to their terrible quality services).TL;DR - They will take your money, damage your things, then avoid you at all costs so they don't have to correct their mistakes.
