Happenstance found myself crashing a soft-opening of apparently the first Pop Mart outside of Asia to which only bloggers and influencers were invited, but the lady was nice enough to let me spend $88 on my new toys. Though I have no idea what Pop Mart really is, I fell for the concept and the collection of freaking cute plastic branded figurines. I guess I have to come back since I didn't get the piece I wanted.NOTE!! It is not clearly written anywhere but there is no refund or exchanges.

Vending machine for Pop Mart blind boxes. They take credit card and you can tap. You just choose which blind box to buy from a touch screen menu. Easy to use.The machine is located across from Shoppers Drug Mart and right before you turn off to go to the Coast Capital ATMs. They also have a FB group chat where they announce restocks and new launches. Occasionally, they stock other Pop Mart merch besides blind boxes.

Looks cool but it wouldn't allow anyone of us to pay for some reason. We all had different cards; some debit, some credit, some master or visa; it just wouldn't process our payments. Maybe we came in on a day when it was down or something else went wrong but that was pretty disappointing.

This big art toy retailer from China recently opened their Roboshop (advanced vending machine) at Richmond Centre that sell cute toy figures. They operate over 150 stores in 52 cities and 900 Roboshops across China.
