Many of the products in the inch bin downstairs at Taikoo are the same as those at Omomo. The price is only 2.98. There are also buy-and-give activities. Why should I buy it at omomo’s high price? So I have dismissed omomo. Many things are not as good as dollar stores. Worse than Costco

Really nice Japanese store for both stationery AND home tableware and the little things. They also have a section on the back of the first floor for anime figurines which is neat. I love how affordable and diverse the stationery is, and I restocked quite a lot of items for school :)

I used to come here often when it was Daiso, but I live far away. Still great for colored pens and highlighters, notepads, snacks, toys. Wow, they have robot model kits.

They trade like robbers. I paid for the wrong item, it was still on the checkout counter but they wouldn't let me cancel. I know the policy is no refund no exchange but that's when you take the goods out of the store. My goods are still on the cashier counter. Never come back. Everyone come to the store have to be careful.

Just had the MOST CONDESCENDING experience with the store supervisor named William. It was a simple purchase with a membership card, for whatever reason, the points did not accumulate on the receipt. Thus, the cashier brought in supervisor to help figure out what’s going on. William first tried to brush it off and told me to come back next time and check on the points then. If points don’t show up on my next visit, then he will do something about the situation. He told me this entire time that it’s my responsibility for the points, not his or the store’s. He also had the audacity to compare the points situation to RCMP giving out tickets which makes ZERO sense. I was standing outside the store discussing something with my sister, while William exited the store and swore loudly in Chinese “F your mother” while making eye contact with us.

With so many different departments you're surely to find something for you and everyone else. Japanese beauty products are so much fun and are budget friendly. Home decorating is another great reason to shop here.

This is a Japanese store where you can find cheap home items like bowls and plates. The quality is not bad, I think their quality is the best compared to many dollar stores, if you're on a budget and want to buy a few things to improve your home life, this is the place to go.

I like this place! Nice selection of things from Japan, that you can't really find elsewhere. The things you do find in Daiso's elsewhere in the region, some may be cheaper than here, but this definitely beats on the selection, and the staff were very patient.Best of all my girlfriend loves this place too! Just make sure to think of some activities to fill your time with when you're done, and your girlfriend is still in here exploring. ?
