Elton was absolutely the best. He was patient and taught me everything I needed to know about choosing the perfect engagement ring for my fiance. He gave me several options within the parameters that I had provided for the diamond I was looking for. He took the time to inspect the diamonds with me at his shop and let me take my time to choose the right one. He made the process so easy as he was communicative and on top of the entire process. When I asked for a temporary travel ring as I was going to propose abroad, he was able to deliver promptly and exactly what I had asked. After Covid hit, few jewelry stores closed down.There is no good jewelry stores left in Aberdeen Mall, anymore.Elton is just typical owner, who likes customers, when they bring business into his store. When he hasn't seen you for awhile, runs into you somewhere inside the mall, he just ignores you.I've bought a jade piece + solid gold necklace before, along with bezels that are meant to fit onto gold coins, shown in pics.I've worked with both Elton and Newton in the past.Newton is probably the better guy to deal with.(Elton Newton - Brothers)Last thing that is good for others to know is, the overhead in this mall is very high. Marcus Jewellery sells their 9999 gold, a little bit higher than other malls, like Parker Place.Do your research in advance, shop around, ask others that you know personally, before coming into Marcus Jewellery.Word of mouth is always the best way to advertise!

My fiance and I purchased my engagement ring (2019) and both of our wedding bands (2022) from Marcus Jewellery. We could not be more pleased. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The jewellery is absolutely stunning and very reasonably priced. The entire process was simple and fun. We created custom rings using rose gold, emeralds, and white gold, and our vision was perfectly executed. 10/10 would recommend this company.

Elton is very personable, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. He provides honest advice and opinion. I was really happy and impressed with their work, especially my wedding band. I would definitely go back to Marcus jewelry again and refer all my friends and family here. The experience was phenomenal! I highly recommend Elton to anyone. The staff was very rude. They have no customer service skills at all and poorly treating their customers. I would never go there again. I went and brought my gold ring at Luk Fook instead. The Luk Fook staff treated me like a customers and ask what I am looking for. The staff at Marcus just stared at me without saying a word. They probably think I am not worth their time.

I go to these guys since they were in Chinatown as PoKwong. I go to them for all repairs and custom jewelry. I can only trust these guys when it comes to jewelry. Elton and Marcus are really credible! They are very passionate about jewlery and have lots of knowledge, I even bring them jewlery I bring back from elsewhere to look at. Their designer, goldsmith and diamond setter were able to miraculously turn an old jade ring into a sparkling modern ring. And its just so hard to find jewlers with jade knowledge, this is the place! They even helped me with a custom diamond flatback earring. If you bring it to them, they will make it happen. And even after its done, if you need a little tweaking they are more than willing to make it to how you want it. Perfection!Thanks Marcus Jewellery for all your help!

Elton was super helpful with my purchase. He found exactly what I was looking for right away. He’s very knowledgeable and will get you exactly what you want within your budget. He even got me a few extra diamonds so that I can compare and he gave me his honest opinion on each diamond. I would highly recommend coming to see Elton if you need something.
