I went in to swatch shades for a pro palette and Rose was just so fantastic I had to leave a review! She was so warm and friendly, and a perfect balance of helpful and attentive without making me feel pressured. She a gem! :)

I visited the store today. Natalia was so helpful and friendly. It was a great experience and really good customer service.Also she gave me very good knowledge of the eye brushes.

Awful service. Today I walked in with my mom looking for things and there was a staff member ( Chinese women )that was just standing there no greeting, not asking if we need help or not. She’s just standing there and waiting for customers to walk up to her. Never seen a store having customer and staff member flip around. I am not being racism or anything because I am also Chinese but her service is so awful.

A month ago I booked a make up appointment at MaC- the bay coz' I have a party to attend. I called in a day before my appointment to make sure it is confirm and they said yes it is confirmed. I was so happy because I have something to buy at Mac store and I will get my party look make over at the same time. Then, around 8pm (last minute) of the same day they called me and say the appointment is cancelled. It was so dissapointing and I find it so unprofessional that after a month of waiting it was just so easy for them to say it cancelled. Be careful of this store.

I was assisted by a lovely lady named Giselle. I wanted to find the perfect nude lip colour between a pink or a brown without being too dark or too light especially during summer time. I was planning to get 1 product but ended up with 2! She was super patient and went above and beyond in suggesting to try a different shades and found what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

Worst Mac store ever! I walked in already knowing what I wanted, ask the staff member for the thing I needed and she went away for 20 min. Went to the register with the one thing I could grab myself and still waited another 10 minutes. When I finally got someone else’s attention she told me it’ll be a few minutes as this other person‘s been waiting a long time and helped her instead. She walked in after me. I feel like this was a really bad thing to say to a customer. I don’t mind waiting when things are busy but this is ridiculous. The store needs a lot of help. I will never go there again.

Awful Awful Awful service! Paid almost $50 for a foundation with a color recommended by their "specialist" on the store with all those lights i coukd not see that it actually looks so off on my skin, went back for a refund or credit store so I could get some use of my money since the foundation is brand new and i wont be able to use it, and turns out the return policy that shows online is not the return policy they use on store. I will defenetely continue to purchase cosmetics at Sephora since they protect their clients interest better.

I don’t know much about makeup but I needed to find some products for an event. I walked into this MAC store and was immediately greeted by Jasmine who proceeded to help me find exactly what I needed. She was an incredible help and I absolutely love the products she suggested. I had to leave a review because I was so impressed with her and thankful for her help! I had exactly what I needed for the event and looked great!

Don't bother coming, you'll have a better experience at Sephora. My friend and I came in and wanted some assistance from the staff. We waited for the sales associate to finish helping the other customer, but then another customer just came up to her and started asking question. The sales associate just completely forgot about us and we waited next to the sales associate for a while, waiting for her to finish, but after around 5 minutes, we got fed up and left. Go to Sephora, the sales associates there would actually help.

I had a really poor experience at MAC Cosmetics on January 4, 2020 at 6:30pm. I came in to swap for another shade that I purchased online, but the makeup artist was not friendly. She gave me comments like.. typical people with my skin tone would go for these shades -- and she would not further explain how these colors would be paired or etc. in depth. Once she helped me redid the transaction, I asked if she could recommend me a shade for a wedding event in the future. She passed on a judgement.. like "surprised" that weddings are still happening in 2021. At the end, she passed me one shade and I asked if I could have another shade to try. She said, "I've been working in the profession for 6 years, I know your shade". I find the staff's attitude very poor and very negative. I love make up and I've been buying from MAC Cosmetics since 2005 but this very experience with MAC online and instore has ruined it for me. I will not be purchasing from MAC in the future. I may be Asian descent, but Asians can have neutral, cool or warm tone -- we do not only have one colour. If the staff's having a bad day, don't ruin it for others.
