I brought my old car for diagnostics, oils + filters change, etc. The team was very professional and attentive to customer's needs and offered to bring it my vehicle on Saturday, which was very convenient for me. The job was done within a few hours at affordable price. I am very satisfied and would recommend this company.

Cesar(the expert mechanic) is a brilliant asset to Iron wood . All the other young guys, always taking instructions from Caser are nice & friendly. Nindi’s Iron Wood is a very reliable mechanic shop for any kind of mechanical problems. Thanks Iron Wood you all are the best….. !

I own a 2007 Toyota Estima Hybrid van, RHD from Japan and even though it has very little mileage, I needed to have the brake actuator replaced. I went to Toyota and they said they wouldn't help, so I called around asking auto shops. Some shops wouldn't even talk with me until I made an appointment. Can you imagine having to wait 10 days to make an appointment only to be told that they can't do the work! Anyway, I went to a couple of other local auto shops and they weren't interested on taking the job or they quoted an extreme amount of money. Then I found Ironwood Auto Service, I called and not only were they willing to talk with me but the mechanic also talked with me and we decided that I'd bring the vehicle in so he could see what needed doing. I showed up on a Monday morning and he said, sure no problem! I laughed inside, because I had been refused so many times, I had set myself up for another refusal. It was so great to hear, no problem and not only that they would do it, but they could do it today. WHAT!!! Are you kidding me? They weren't kidding, so I left the vehicle and I told them to take their time. I had purchased the part and had it sent from Japan, so they had everything they needed and it was all done by the next day and the total cost was less than $500. These guys are the best!I did have to use Techstream Japan to reset the computer and remove the trouble errors and lights from the dash but 20 minutes later, that was complete. The vehicle drives like it's brand new. THANK YOU IRONWOOD!!!!

Stay away from this company. Be careful! Not honest, a kind of cheating....My car broke down on highway. I found this company in Google search & called them to ask for the charge to replace the alternator. They gave me a very good quote, so I paid extra money to the towing company to tow my car there. But actually it is free if my car is towed to a nearest auto repair shop (within 5km). On the following day, someone from this company called me & said it is not the problem of alternator, it should be the problem with the starter, so the parts & labour cost will be more($370 More). But my car has just been checked by my own auto body shop 2 days ago & confirmed that it was the problem of alternator. I have no choice & have to trust this company , as my car was already in his shop. When I came to pick up my car. The guy told me it is the problem of alternator. I paid cash to him. He took my money & denied the quote for replacing the alternator they told me before. If it is not the problem of the starter, the charge for changing the alternator should be the same as the quote he told me on the phone. He called to tell me to replace something else & charge more. But actually, it is the part that I requested originally. I paid more fees to tow my car there instead of a free towing service to a chosen repair shop from my auto club. I see there is a high ranking of this company in Google review, & so I picked it. That's why I want to write down my experience & let other people to be alert of this company. Don't trust what they told you.

Excellent service, reasonable prices, and very accommodating when my car broke down at 5pm on a Friday. I called and spoke to Nindi to see if I would be able to have my car towed there, they stayed open past their regular hours and diagnosed the problem that evening. They were able to order the part and have my car fixed the next day!Very pleased with the service I received,I will be returning in the future. To Nindi and the team, thank you very much!I appreciate everything you do!

I've been a customer with Ironwood for years, was always satisfied. However my last 2 visits have me on the hunt once more for a reputable mechanic. I will not be visiting ironwood automotive again. The first of my recent poor experience was I had made an appointment to get work on the exhaust, which I had been told by ironwood needed replacing. I was asked to bring my vehicle in at 9am. I hadn't recieved a call for an update by 3pm. I got a ride down to the shop at which point I was informed not only had they not looked at it but they wouldn't be able to that day and may not get to it until after the weekend (this was a Thursday). I would have appreciated that they had informed me that they were too busy to work on my car, and not made an appointment for me to bring my car in until they actually had time to work on it. Not the end of the world although the first time I had this happen with them I was willing to give the new ownership the benefit of the doubt and try again.Second visit late last month I had my check engine light come on (I checked the code so I knew what I was likely dealing with not to mention the performance problems I've been experiencing) I phoned made an appointment brought my car in. Although they didn't get to it until later in the day they did supposedly check the code and do a diagnostic and perform some maintenance. I was charged $190 for the work and was told they found nothing wrong and perhaps I needed new sparkplugs. Forward to this week, the performance of my car has been sub par since the check engine light incident. I took my vehicle to another automotive shop recommended to me. Guided by the code from my engine light experience They informed me my turbos are leaking oil and have been for sometime (they also inspected the exhaust and told me my exhaust was fine and simply had a little exterior rust). I had in fact mentioned checking the turbos to ironwood on my last visit. Now I'm left wondering what exactly they did when they charged me $190, did they do anything besides clear the code? I'm glad my gut and common sense told me that not all was well with my vehicle if I had continued to drive it with a failing turbo I would likely have been dealing with a blown engine not just an expensive turbo replacement. It's very sad as I had dealt with Steve for a long time and had always trusted their work. I hope no one else has a negative experience, however I will not be returning.Services: Exhaust
