Horrible shopping experience here buying clothes. I tried on a relaxed fit shirt in size small. I thought it fitted well and was getting ready to purchase it. However, one of the helpers there suggested me to get a medium because she said it would fit me better. I wasn't sure about it but didn't want to argue with her. She said this is not american brand and sizes tend to run smaller. It is not the case for my piece though. I now have washed the clothes and it didnt shrink like she said it would. It is huge on me. I dont feel like how i look in it. There is no way for me to get back to the store ans return it though since I live so far away. I wish the helper didn't make me feel bad for wanting to get the size that I think was fitting me good.

Was here over the long Victoria weekend. Came here to Giordano's to shop for t-shirts & a pair of shorts for hubby ?. 30% off entire store last day. I walked out paying $35. for a crew neck t- shirt & a pair of shorts! Wished I bought more. LolThe sales guy said " the sizes fit smaller because they are made to fit the Asian body ".Ty

Went here around 2018/19 and to this day I still remember the terrible experience. The moment I walked into the store that was almost empty except for the two shop employees that were chatting and laughing, they both stopped and stared at me. The store was dead silent except for maybe some background music.No one welcomed me, no one smiled or greeted me, just unfriendly staring. I felt like I interrupted something so I left.I didn't want to wander around a store while two unsmiling pairs of eyes followed me around. Whether the people working there 3-4 years ago hired to sell products or ward off intruders, I will never know.

This one employee wearing a yellow polo shirt was extremely helpful and kind. He made my shopping experience extremely hassle free, while giving me some tips, and I would return just for him.

With the many times I’ve been here, I’ve always left with something. Mainly from the men’s section, as they have a lot of nice things. I’ve bought a men’s small bomber for myself and it was a great oversized option.Items seem to be or quality as most things I own from there have lasted years.I really like their outerwear and light jackets.

Have to shout out to Bryan at Giordano Richmond for the amazing customer service I received tonight. On a holiday Monday it wasn’t very busy and I started out interested in a long black skirt but noticed there’s a sale for buy two items store wide and get 30% off so I started to browse for a second item. After about five minutes I wasn’t having any luck when I was approached and shown around the store. I realized that the sales rep really knew the merchandise and had some interesting and convincing suggestions. Usually when people work in stores in the mall and don’t make commission they ask you if you need help finding anything and you say “no” then they leave you alone but I was really paid attention to and shown some new ideas I wouldn’t have thought of by myself. I tried on the outfits and he was there to provide feedback through the different options. It’s so rare to have people in retail really care! He was also very confident about what he was suggesting even when I tried to consider another choice he didn’t waiver from his suggestion and he didn’t just start agreeing with everything I said. He was quite certain what looked better and that persuaded me to reconsider.In the end I did not make the purchase because I noticed that the rubber band on the “Free Size” skirt was starting to twist and that’s a huge pet peeve of mine. I found out there’s no-return policy either so unfortunately I left empty handed. I would have bought the items and worn them to see if the twisting band would actually be a problem or not but now I’ll never know! It was not worth the risk.Anyways, great customer service. Giordano is lucky to have staff like Bryan working there - he made my day.Four of my stars go to the friendly staff like Bryan. I would have given five stars if they had a normal returns/exchanges policy to protect customers in case the items aren’t what they’re expecting.
