I would give this business a zero rating because of awful customer service. We work at a nearby golf course and were picking up a liquor order that had been placed. It was a stat holiday and the front door did not have a posting of holiday operation hours. We drove to the back of business and my manager rang the bell...the person, a woman answered. My manager was trying to explain the situation but the employee very rudely cut her off mid-sentence before shutting the door in her face. Not cool. As customers we pay your salary and as such you could have handled the situation better. Learn some bloody manners and customer service.

Time says the close at 9. I skated, and ran for 20 minutes arrived at 8:59 and the doors were locked. I knew exactly what I wanted would have been quicker than the people that left the store after I arrived. Just being straight up ignorant and abusing their power

***That's not the way to treat customers!*** Shame on you!!!
We boycott this store. Went in one day and their security guard kept following us. Whenever we looked up the security guard was there. We were being stalked and treated like criminals. We were just trying to shop. We have no criminal record, never shoplifted and we were not there to shoplift. We were just browsing. It was not a good experience, so we later called the store to speak to the store manager, but we got the "acting" manager. We told her about her security guard acting like a "Rambo", and she laughed at us and started ridiculing us.
***That's not the way to treat customers!*** They lost our business forever. Treating customers like this is unacceptable, so we are letting the world know. We spend our money elsewhere.

I have always received great service from this location over the years. That being said, the newest addition to their wine consultant team, Kayla (maybe Kaila?), is one of the best.
She is friendly without being imposing, knowledgeable without being arrogant, attentive to what a customer likes and wants as opposed to pushing her own specific preferences.
The fact that she can provide such excellent service while the store is in the midst of being gutted and renovated speaks to her dedication and work ethic.
I sincerely hope that, when renovations are complete, that she remains part of this store’s team.

The best of the Richmond government liquor stores ?. Unbelievably helpful and charming staff very high vibrating group of employees. Was looking for a limited edition whiskey and a lovely employee named Natasha knew what I was talking about and handed me off to her supervisor Keelyn , she sent me an email when the bottle got released and it helped make my best friend's birthday extra special.
