“The staff at the #5rd/Cambie rd in Richmond are the nicest group of staff.
I have done banking there for over 4 years, and am always happy with the services. Every staff member who works there are amazing. They are kind, considerate & empathetic. The bank itself, is wheelchair/handicap friendly, the staff goes out of their way yo assist someone with mobility issues. The bank is clean, not cluttered, and easy to move around in. Parking can be dicey, especially on Seniors Day. Often a busy parking lot.”

“We’d like to thank Ms Flora Shao for her excellent service during our visit in this branch. We Googled this location and went to close our CIBC account after our mortgage was transferred to another bank. The staff initially suggested us to go to another branch. While we were sitting at the waiting area, searching for a better solution by ourselves, Flora approached us, and offered help. Instead of pushing us away, she sat down with us, spent plenty of time, patiently solved our issues one by one. After a few days, she followed up with phone call and email, to make sure we had no further issues …We’ve seen account managers/representatives in Vancouver
area over the years, most of them only care about the investments, but ignore
customer’s daily banking needs. Flora is buffet , her professional services deserve a five star review.”

“Cath was very friendly and helpful today. She was helping me with a transaction when she noticed that, as an older adult, I qualified for the unlimited chequing account for free. She helped switch our chequing accounts and also helped cancel paper statements. This was extra service that she did not need to do, but did happily anyways. Thank you, Cath!”

“Long wait time. I was lining up on the fourth place and it took me around 30 minutes to get to the counter. There are nine counters that can serve clients, but only four of them are opened which is not the normal case because most of the time they only open two or three counters.Not sure why HSBC doesn't open more counters when it is crowd. If they let those 4 to 5 employees who are sitting at the back to get to the front, it will definitely help to speed up the line.If any of you want a quicker service, you can try the Aberdeen branch, I highly recommend it.”
