AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It would bother me not to post about the customer service I received at the Michaels Custom Framing in Port Coquitlam. I was gifted a custom framed picture from my girlfriend, quite a long time ago. I will add this was a very large picture.....48 inches by 24 inches. They did a fantastic job...it was pricey was very well done. Over time, the picture showed a rippling effect and I had a few people comment on it. I finally decided to bring it in. Karen looked at it and said they would have it fixed at NO CHARGE. Within a few hours, I had a call that it was finished. The picture looks so Amazing! The customer service at this store sets the standard of service as far as I'm concerned. I would highly recommend the custom framing at this store. I will add I heard another couple commending Riley in the same department for his customer service. Excellent Work!!! Sometimes you have to look past the cost as customer service is sometimes hard to find these days. THANK YOU!!!!

I just picked up a painting that I had framed at this Michaels location, and I felt compelled to write a review for what was honestly one of the very best, most sincere, and truly moving customer service experiences I have had in recent memory. I was helped from start to finish by the expert Laurel, who guided me in selecting both frame and matting for a special painting of the endangered New Zealand storm petrel for my ornithologist partner. It turned out perfectly - understated, with just the right amount of matting showing for the painting to stand out. This alone would have been reason enough to come back again and again. However, during our first exchange we got to talking about how I was home caring for my father, who is sick with cancer, and she stopped, looked at me and really connected with me on this, sharing that she too had been in this difficult position, and she knew how it felt. It was real empathy, and it was just so unexpected and lovely. I picked up my painting today, and in a strange twist of fate we realized that my Dad had dropped off his own painting for framing ages ago and forgotten to pick it up! His memory is suffering due to his illness, and when I mentioned this, she remembered me right away. It was so nice to reconnect. I left today with two beautifully framed paintings, and a very warm feeling. Thank-you Laurel, Michaels is lucky to have you.

Just wanted to add a positive review on this Grey friday about Leila and another gentleman who's name I didn't get (larger fellow, light brown hair) Thdey took me to what I was looking for, helped me with options, signed me up to this discount site and were overall just so darn pleasant. I had just gotten some bad news before I walked into the store and they really made my day.

Michaels is sooooo expensive!!!Everything I find here Is way more expensive than the other stores or online shopping.I do not recommend it to anyone.Especially when you want to do some artworks it is NOT at all economic.
