“I've been a loyal customer of Ayoub's for a considerable time. Today, upon receiving an email advertising a 20% discount on gift cards, I eagerly visited the store to make a purchase. Regrettably, the customer service representative seemed unaware of the promotion. After showing her the email, she initially agreed to honor it. However, moments later, while I was occupied with my shopping, she informed me that the offer was only valid on December 26th. Despite showing her the email's clear mention of the offer lasting until December 31st and attempting to explain, her response was rude and unprofessional. Her interruptions during my explanation made the interaction uncomfortable to the extent that I felt discouraged from continuing my shopping experience.Update: Following the manager's response to my review, I reached out personally. Amir was incredibly understanding and apologetic. Thank you, Amir :)”
“You can find necessary products there. Cashiers are usually helpful. But I received bad advice twice from a young man who seems to be the owner or manager. I asked if the bread was fresh, and he said it was made an hour ago. I bought a lot of it, but when I opened the bag at home, it was clearly at least a day old. The same thing happened with another item with the same guy.”
“My favorite local green grocer. Always have excellent produce, good prices and fresh fruit. Large assortment of European and Asian treats, spices, sauces and condiments makes it easy to make an international meal with one easy stop. Friendly staff are awesome too. Tried a 1L raspberry elderberry syrup made in Europe without artificial flavours and colours for $8.”
“I come to this store when Walmart doesn't have the vegetables I need. They always have the items I need at reasonable prices. The only downside is that the store is located deep inside the mall, so you will have to walk a bit further to get there.”
“Decent prices, good variety of produce, snacks and Asian products! Owner is friendly so there's an extra star for that. Can't believe today was my first time here. Will be coming here more”
“It's a great little place inside Lougheed Mall. Fresh fruits and veggies. Usually a good price but can be more than Walmart or Superstore. Free parking at the mall.”

I have purchased it today (April 14 2023), and took a bite on one of them on the way home, and it gave me full grin and smile on my face. It is so fresh and delicious. It tasted so good that I could taste a bit of fresh sweetness of tomatoes. This place will be my only place for tomatoes from now on.”

7228 192 St, Surrey“Awsome little 1 stop shop for very fresh veggies & produce. Many staples, indian or otherwise. They have some beautiful oils reg to high heat mustard oil. This has a nice mild flavour, at the same time I use it for super high heat cooking without the burnt smoking oils some use. It is great for tempering/curing all of my cast iron pots & pans. The staff are always watching for unscrupulous character who like to lift things without pay. I utilize this staff member to assist with flavour questions, uses for certain products & uses for including how to prepare. Plus I get to tinker with new tools & flavours for various foods. Being able to ask ethnic questions helps me become a better cook with a bigger arsenal for cooking, techniques, & flavour profiles. This is 1 of 2 stores I go to, both under the Fruitcana name. My other store I purchase for example 100 lb sacks of onions, i uses these to pickle with. Either pickled on their own or with pickles/beets etc..Keep up the good work making unsure customers like myself feel comfortable without being mocked.Hence 5 star☆☆☆☆☆ reviewThumbs up to all that work in either locations.”

7028 120 St, Surrey“Fruiticana Supermarket is a gem for anyone seeking a diverse selection of fresh produce and international groceries. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed with both the variety and quality of products offered.
The first thing you notice upon entering Fruiticana is the vibrant and colorful array of fresh fruits and vegetables. The produce section is well-stocked and meticulously organized, making it easy to find everything from common staples like apples and carrots to more exotic items like dragon fruit and bitter melon. The freshness and quality of the produce are immediately apparent, and it's clear that the store takes pride in offering the best to its customers.
Beyond produce, Fruiticana excels in its selection of international groceries. The aisles are filled with a wide range of spices, lentils, rice, and other staples from around the world, particularly focusing on South Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines. Whether you're looking for specific ingredients to recreate a traditional recipe or exploring new culinary horizons, this supermarket has you covered.
One of the standout features of Fruiticana is its excellent selection of fresh herbs and specialty items. I was particularly impressed with the variety of fresh cilantro, mint, and curry leaves, which can be hard to find in other grocery stores. Additionally, the store offers a great selection of freshly made items like samosas, chutneys, and pickles, adding a delightful touch of authenticity.
The store layout is clean and well-organized, making shopping a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and always willing to help, offering advice on products and recipes when needed. Their knowledge and enthusiasm about the products they sell add to the overall positive shopping experience.
Prices at Fruiticana are reasonable, and the value for money is excellent given the quality of the goods. There are often great deals and promotions, making it a cost-effective choice for your grocery needs.
In summary,”
“The store is always clean, organized, and well-stocked. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. I highly recommend this Fruiticana to anyone looking for a top-notch grocery shopping experience. Five stars all the way!”
