Horrible experience at winners. They have no break it you buy it policy and the employees still made her pay for an item that was broken, disgusting!!! Customer service on the phone decided to ignore this situation completely. Would not recommend shopping here in the future, Jysk is better.

Not happy with what I just experienced. I don’t know what the “break it you buy it” policy is anymore but I just witnessed an elderly woman accidentally break a lamp. She was physically disabled and was using a walker. The employee told her to come up to the front to pay for it. She paid and left empty handed while the employee put the lamp to the side and continued on. Employee showed no sign of sympathy. I don’t know how this is allowed considering I myself broke an item in a winners a few years ago and I was told that the “break it you buy it” policy wasn’t a thing anymore. This poor woman. And nothing at Winners is cheap either so I can’t imagine how much that would’ve cost especially for an elderly woman that I’m assuming has a fixed income. Can someone clarify if this is the policy cause if it’s not this is not fair whatsoever and I won’t be supporting this winners and home sense.
