I went to this wamart this morning, i am disabled and parked in a handycapped spot. But when i looked up i saw only a sign for saying this spot is for people with a baby stroller. So i backed out and when to pull into another spot that has the wheelchair on the ground. So i parked elsewhere, while i was sitting in my car 3 people with disabled plaque when to pull in and backed out because they say thr sign with a stroller. I found out thos spots are for either or. But very confusing when you pull in and only to the 1 sign. They need the wheelchair sign on the poles as well.
Looked online for sharpie markers online the price was $24.98 for one pack, and $19.94. I go to the Walmart to get them. They are listed for $31.97 in store. They wouldn't match the price of their website. Told me to just order them online. So I ordered them online for pickup. So I bought the items saving money, plus THEY had to go pick up the items and had a staff member have to bring them out instead of just honoring the price on the website. ( and it was not a "buy it online" pricing. Absolutely ridiculous.

The mobility riding carts are now inaccessible to people like that cannot walk the distance to get a cart. Superstore has purchased new mobility carts that are kept in an accessable entrance. The greeter told me today that there are no plug ins by the regular carts @ Walmart. I think that was done by design. ? Shame on you WALMART, for making life more difficult for people like me.

I am formally expressing my concerns regarding the practice at Walmart in Penticton where store employees appear to be manipulating customer service ratings after the use of the self-checkout system. Specifically, it has come to my attention And been personally witnessed by me, that after customers complete their transactions, employees are rating the service with a five-star rating on behalf of the customer without their knowledge or consent. This practice is misleading, as it does not accurately reflect the customer’s experience, and it undermines the integrity of the rating system.
From a legal perspective, this practice could be considered deceptive and in violation of consumer protection laws. In Canada, the Competition Act prohibits deceptive marketing practices that may lead to false or misleading representations. By artificially inflating service ratings, Walmart is providing an inaccurate representation of customer satisfaction, which could be construed as misleading advertising to potential customers. Additionally, this manipulation of ratings raises concerns about transparency and the company’s ethical responsibilities toward its customers.
This issue has been a repeated problem in our town, and it is not only damaging to the trust between customers and the store but also potentially harmful to Walmart’s reputation. I urge Walmart to take immediate action to address this issue by ensuring that only customers have the ability to rate their experiences and that employees are not involved in the manipulation of these ratings. I am considering letting consumer protection know as it’s part And I recommend that others let them know as well.

I ordered a printer, it says it was delivered to Penticton a week ago, but on the site it says it is delayed. I went to customer service and they told me to go around the side to the “Pick Up area.” So I did, and I waited for 15 minutes outside the pickup door and no one helped me. What a terrible store, and terrible service. I paid for a printer, and now I can’t even pick it up. What a rip off.

Highly unethical practices by checkout staff by clicking the 5 stars for service on the screen after you have completed your purchase. This is the 3rd time they have done this. The management of this store and Walmart Canada should be very wary of any stats showing satisfaction levels from this store! They are clearly being doctored to show higher levels than they are!

The staff are always pushy asking if you want a credit card when you say no. They still try to push you into a credit card. They try to get underage kids to apply for credit cards when they clearly look under age.

I had an exemplary return service experience, Aug 29, 2024, about 1 pm. Only staff on desk, pressured to get 2nd staff, by customer after us. Your staff member was very patient and supportive, throughout. Kudos Walmart Returns staff

you get one star for making your staff try to make me rate my shopping experience. Totally cringe. Every time I walk into the self check out area, I am never acknowledged until I am almost done ringing my product in then they stop talking amongst themselves and come interrupt me and ask for 5 stars? Get bent

I had a gift card and i’m standing in line scratching the part that says “scratch here” for when i online shop later and the miserable woman at the cash register says in a rude tone “don’t scratch that.” I tell her I’m scratching where it says scratch here and she replies with “no.” As well as when I was first in line she looks at my cart and with an attitude says “do you need bags or not!” I am very unimpressed with the tone and demeanour of this woman and disappointed in my store experience. I wish I could rate 0 starts.

You can find what you're looking for pretty easy. But unfortunately the self checkout staff are very annoying. They ask you to leave a 5 star review on the checkout. Even though they did nothing to receive that review. It would be great if this could be dropped.

It’s a typical Walmart , so as a store not bad. The bad part is being bombarded with Walmart employees asking if you want a Walmart Mastercard , or holding your screen from closing so you can rate your experience. One time I even left as per usual and I didn’t rate ..and saw them run to my till before the screen could close so they can press “5 stars”. Gets annoying quickly .
