The store timings on Google and outside the store says that they close at 10 PM BUT surprisingly the supervisor wanted to leave early so he closed the door before the store closing time. I reached the store by 9.55 just to buy one thing, I’m a regular at the store so I know exactly where to go and I’d have been out of the store before 10 o’clock or at least by 10 o’clock. But seems like they can just close the door whenever they like and not care about other people who works somewhere else and have closing shifts. I was rushing towards SOF after my shift just to see that they’ve closed the door before their timings. The most disrespectful thing is that the supervisor saw me and still decided not to open the door.

Save On in Penticton has gone so down hill this last year. Especially lately. Extremely slow, no help bagging. So painful to shop there now. Takes forever to get out of the line up, even through self serve. Will be going elsewhere.

Store is pretty well run. Fresh is expensive but good. Pharmacy is small but has the nicest staff. I like shopping here but can’t afford it

My husband bought some McSweeney's Zero Sugar Beef Jerky in December 2023 that was expired in October 2023. We returned it without issues.
Today (March 28, 2024), I found the McSweeney's jerky on sale and checked the expiry date before buying it. Most of it still had the October 2023 expiration date (some was expired in December 2023 and some in January 2023).

We get all of our local wines here even though we live on the east bench of Oliver. Prices are usually better than at the wineries.
