“I forgot a book here one time, and these guys held on to it for 3 months until I was back in. You'll note 99% of the complaints are about stock levels, and there's one that says they need to be investigated by the government because.... they were closed for a while and it wasn't clear what was happening with the property?
If the issues people have with you are that you can't keep the shelves full enough to have everything, and you aren't open... then are the issues really with you?
I think the people running this are good people. I think they are ethical people (only liquor store to ever tell me no when I am plainly drunk off my ass and still trying to buy). I think they care about our community and want to support it (I know for a fact they shop local for many things, and they, more than most companies ).
I think you could probably say that about a lot of liquor stores, but *I* can't. I can only talk about my experiences. Thusly, I recommend here. If they don't have what you want, there's another store two blocks away that might. But I'd *rather* give these guys my money, so personally, I'll always check here first.”
“Rebrand for Co-op but still head and shoulders above the garbage stocked by BCLDB who are on strike once again. Do yourself a favor when in Penticton and shop here and avoid the ridiculous government store who still pushes CIC garbage (Coppermoon et al) in boxes as you walk into the store in the gateway to the South Okanagan.”
