The staff and management at this location are fabulous. Everytime I go into the produce section and a staff member is there, they always say good morning to me. The youth working there are very polite. Whenever I cannot find an item they always know exactly where I can find it and even frequently take the time to lead the way to it. It is always easy to find a staff member.

I had a grocery bag break on me yesterday and the manager was extremely helpful and understanding. I really appreciated him helping me pick things up. I enjoy shopping at this grocery store, but their service solidifies my choice.

Ridiculously over priced for any item.
Absolute effing robery....even more expensive than their other owned store...Safeway...which more more expensive than their compeitors.

I bought a "fresh" turkey for Easter dinner which turned out to be foul smelling and rancid. I had no choice but to discard the whole turkey and we ended up not having turkey dinner for Easter!!
Unfortunately, I could not find the receipt, but I brought back the original package with all the relevant information (date packaged and the best before date which was even a couple of days prior to the return). It was an expensive purchase, but I was told that I could not receive a refund without a receipt. I checked online and discovered that it is possible to retrieve the receipt if the store made an effort to do so. I was basically dismissed and the head cashier reprimanded me for not keeping track of my receipt. The manager showed some empathy for a ruined Easter dinner and the major inconvenience; however, he did not offer any possible remedy or solution! I shop regularly at the IGA store in Penticton and I had hoped that I would be treated fairly and would receive at least a store credit!! I was surprised by the indifference in terms of attempting to provide a fair solution. I do not plan to shop at this IGA moving forward!!

I find some workers there to be uncomforting in there attitude and how they approach customers. Real miserable some of the workers and you can tell.
