Purchased a $79 3M dust mask in a medium as it was the only size on the shelf and it caused pain on my nose the entire day I used it. I have asked if they could order me any 3M mask in a large size but they told me they only carry them in medium! And offered me a workhorse brand one size fits all asbestos mask as an alternative!
Their tag line "We're pros at helping pros" seems odd if they can't even order a 3M mask in a large size!

I am impressed by Home Hardware, we went there after being ignored at the competition, and the staff, is prompt in replying, or looking for a staff member and helping us look for product.

Went into Home Hardware this morning to buy a $650 hot water tank. Their website said if I ordered online I would get 10% off with relatively quick delivery. The store had product in stock but was not prepared to honour their web price of 10% off. Went immediately to Canadian Tire where they had essentially the same product (different brand, same specs) for $600 - took it home.

Needed a power tool in the hardware center. Was approached by Ferd to see if we needed help. My daughter was buying a rechargeable tool, and he helped her with the battery needed, and suggested she check the tool she already owned. It worked, and saved her $100! Very much appreciated!
We were also helped by a very nice man in appliances. My daughter purchased a new dishwasher. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't get his name but his sales ID on the invoice is DAO.
We appreciate the great service we have always received in this store.
