Much of their store has products from India and Mexico because these cultures are prominent in our area. However, there are other cultures represented. It's a wonderful way to pick up a gift or treat for those a bit adventurous in your life. A friendly and kind family who run the store. Well worth stopping in.”

1204 Main St, Oroville“My wife and I have lived all over the US and have never experienced that 'home town' feel that we get from Frontier Foods in Oroville. We've been shopping there exclusively for almost 5 years now and we've never had a bad experience. If you're on a special diet and/or they don't carry a specific food item, you can ask Pat, Stephanie, or Allen and they'll get it in for you. If you have a meat question or need a pound of tenderloin, Jesus from the meat dept is your man; he's super cool and gets right on top it.Need a particular type of fruit or veg? Ask David or Brandy. They're both very friendly and knowledgeable.Have a recipe question or need to know which ethnic ingredient is the best? Just ask Heidi. She's a sweetheart and knows how to cook.Just need an awesome attitude with a simple purchase? Well everyone here so far has been awesome to us, so shout out to everyone mentioned already, plus sweet Debbie, Michael, Junior, Abbi, and the rest of the folks whose names we can't remember!”

1000 23rd Ave, Oroville“Good prices on the tilimook cheese and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The donuts and fritters looked really good and at $1.19 each is a good price. My husband is a conisiuer on apple fritters, I asked Danny if they had lots of apple in them and he said yes so I bought 6. Sorry Danny to say, not one chunk of apple in them. Just dough and sugar. The outside is crispy and the inside nice, not too doughy, just the right texture. I would have given 5 stars had there been apple in them. My friend bought a 1.75 bottle of vodka for $10 plus $4.00 tax. Not sure of the brand. Prices are a bit high overall so would not make it a regular stop and continue to Omak for any serious grocery shop.”
“The reason i never gave 5 stars is because yes the prices are higher and the bakery doesnt always have the cream cheese iced cinnamon buns. I pick up for my clients I do jomesupport for. prefer to shop at buy-low in Oliver and Osoyoos. Over no frills. I just find they have everything I want. Unfortunately I never find the brands or items I like at no frills. And the staff is alot more friendly at buylow.”
“Stopped in to get Mexican food at Sophia’s but also bought some corn, strawberries and melons at the market. All delicious. I was also able to taste (for free) an unusual cucumber I used to grow and miss. If I wasn’t swimming in my own regular cucumbers I would have bought those as well. It must be a very difficult year for produce growers & sellers. Please support them.”
