I'm updating this review as the owner Jason reached out to me to resolve this situation. He apologized for how I had been treated and for the failed work that had been performed. It was alot of extra work for me running around trying to get this resolved but mistakes do happen. Ultimately I was treated fairly.
Original Post - Aug, 2024 - 1 Star Review
I'll start by saying I rarely write reviews unless it's either really good or really bad. In this case it's the latter. A couple years back Deep Cove Auto was acquired by White's. We had been clients of Deep Cove for many years and were always very happy with the service. After they were acquired it was recommended we shift our business over to White's which I did. Unfortunately it has NOT gone well. The main issue has been low quality parts (even though we didn't ask for low quality) and no accountability over the service costs associated with the installation of low quality parts. The first instance was a failed alternator which was replaced at no charge. That was fine. The 2nd and last instance was the install of a Serpentine belt in our Sienna. We took it back and asked they check it as it was squeaking/squealing. He advised that the next step was to replace the tensioner which was an expensive job. I then took it to North Shore Toyota and they told me it was a low quality after-market belt. They replaced the belt with a Toyota belt and it was back to normal. Of course this was frustrating as not only didn't White's offer to replace it but they tried to gouge me for more work. I drove to White's and asked them what compensation they would provide given I had to pay 2x for a belt install: 1x by Whites and then properly by Toyota. He said they would do nothing and showed no signs of remorse, accountability or shame that they provided poor service and had tried to extract another $800-$1000 for a new tensioner. I've waited close to 6 months to write this review just to confirm that the new belt from Toyota is in fact ok and it's still great with not a peep. I see that White's has good reviews but I for one did not have a good experience with him (the owner). Hopefully this review stays up because potential clients need to see what happens when clients fact check his work.

refuse to work on a 1991 RV. Brakes take too long to get there, etc. no wonder there are so many broken down RVs near Walmart.

I recently purchased a used truck and needed a reliable local mechanic to replace wheel bearings, brakes, and do a regular oil change. The rates were fair and I felt I could trust them to provide the necessary service. This will be my new shop going forward for this vehicle!

Had a flat tire, took me in at 4:30, fixed it within 30 minutes and didn't even charge me because they couldn't find a leak. Super professional.

Great shop. Trustworthy, knowledgeable and wonderful customer service. As someone who knows next to nothing about cars, I feel I am in very good hands! These guys know what they're doing. They won't try to sell you things you don't need done. I have happily made the switch to White's from the dealership after a friend recommended them to me!

I recently had to drop my car off at Whites Auto do to issues with it overheating. I was extremely impressed with the costumer service and care and attention they had with my vehicle. Amanda who works with their admin was extremely polite and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and informing me about the status of my vehicle throughout the repair process promptly and personably. Duncan is extremely professional and gave me informed recommendations on what would need to be done for my car, while keeping in mind the budget I had.Upon second visit when it was confirmed that my head gasket was the issue, they didn't charge me for the service and wrote me up a detailed list of the repairs needed so that I would be able to consider next best steps for my car.I cannot thank Whites Auto enough for going above and beyond for their costumers and for making a difficult time go smoothly. I felt informed and cared for with every interaction I had with them. I would recommend them to anyone facing car troubles.

Had my FJ cruiser in there for some service work. The team ther were awesome Jason,Duncan and Amanda.The main reason I went there was to have my climate unit problem addressed but they were unable to repair the the concern but very upfront and recommended I Take it to the dealer, Some shops would have charged a bunch of diagnostic time with no positive results they did not do that ,just simply stated we don't know what's going on. There is alot to be said about honesty. Great service ??and pricing.
