Don’t waste your time and money elsewhere, when it comes to off-road vehicles, the team at WCOR is the best in the lower mainland. And very well priced.I took my OME BP-51’s to 4 other mechanics to have the coils pre-loaded. All of them gave a weak attempt before telling me they would be unable to compress them, one of the shops even charged me shop time. The team at WCOR had the job done in minutes, were knowledgeable about the process and how to set them, and were kind enough to not charge me for their time. Though I’d be happy to pay for such excellent service.

Exceptional off-road shop! Fabian and his team are awesome. They are incredibly kind and extremely knowledgeable. They installed my headlights and new tire mount with ease! I will be back soon to get tires and wheels! I highly recommend this shop!

After my dealership told me that my control arm bushings needed to be replaced I called around to a bunch of mechanics. WCOR was the only place to ask questions and inquire a little further into my issue, ultimately explaining that it is unlikely my bushings need to be replaced. He also told me what changes in handling I should look for while driving my car to indicate if there is an issue. Still wanting someone to look at them, I decided to take it into the shop (he was right, they were fine). It can be really challenging to find a mechanic that you trust, even harder to find one that is kind and takes the time to explain what is happening. From the initial conversation on the phone to the moment I walked out the door I was treated with respect. Thank you!

Bought a 2001 4Runner two years ago. High lift, big bumpers, fat tires. My wife's dream truck. Took it only to Toyota dealers for service and advice — they must do the best work right? The work was endless and expensive, so we got a third opinion from a non-Toyota mechanic. He urged us to redo the entire front end, for starters, as he said the truck wasn't really safe for our toddler to ride in. We sadly chose to sell, but telling buyers of major urgent repairs led to no offers. As a last resort, we looked for someone who knows 4x4s well, but doesn't profit from selling repairs. Thank you West Coast Off-Roaders, for taking a look. Fab knew the specs of our 4Runner on first glance across the parking lot better than any shop we'd been to. "That's not a 4-inch lift" he says as we walk toward it, "that's a 2 inch no, a 3-inch." Yes, he was 100% right, I only thought it was 4 inch because Toyota said so. He shows me around the wheel well, naming the parts, the off-market brands, and their age and condition. All correctly. Two hours later, truck down from the hoist, the verdict. "Truck is fine. Nothing wrong with it." You drove it?? Yes, it's totally safe. Names a few components that may be first in line to replace, down the road.If that wasn't enough, I push my luck. I ask how we might remove our massive Fractal steel back gate with spare tire. It blocks our back hatch and it's too heavy for my wife to open or close, let alone lock. Previous shops said: that's a big job, if it can even be done, it's major frame work. The guy at West Coast, (missed his name) had it off and stowed in the back of our truck, in an hour. Less. I don't think they even charged me. FIVE STARS

I recently brought my low mileage 2015 Xterra Pro-4X to West Coast Off-Roaders (WCOR) to investigate a problem I was experiencing with the rear locking differential. Prior to bringing it to WCOR I had taken the Xterra to a local Nissan dealership to assess the problem. The dealership’s technician concluded the locking differential (M226) was broken and needed to be replaced at a cost of $7,000 for the part + installation. Yet it turns out the locking differential is made by Dana, for Nissan, and is available as a Dana-branded part for $1,000. However, since Nissan's technician would only install the much more expensive Nissan branded product I brought my vehicle to West Coast Off-Roaders to fix the problem. Where it gets interesting is that WCOR determined that the locking differential was, in fact, not broken and did not need to be replaced. Rather, it was the switch that activates the locking differential that required repair. So instead of spending approximately $8,000 to replace a locking rear differential that wasn’t broken, as misdiagnosed by the Nissan’s technician, West Coast Off-Roaders repaired the switch at a fraction of the price. It is clear to me that when it comes to 4WDs, not only does West Coast Off-Roaders have the expertise to tackle any mechanical problem, but more importantly they operate with integrity and trust. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Needed bushings and shackles for my F350. Fabian and his staff were great to deal with on the phone and in person. Both Fabian and his staff were happy to take the time and answer the questions I had. Would highly recommend West Coast Off Road. Good service is harder and harder to find these days and will definitely be using them in the future.

After searching online for a shop to install some rear air bags on my Ram 1500, I came across Fab's shop. I I'll be honest, it was these reviews that made him and his crew stand out. From the moment I stepped into the show room till the moment I drove away I was treated with care and respect. Like the reviews below state, Fab and his team explained everything they were doing in detail and even went further to add further ensure that longevity of the parts they installed. Everyone in the shop/show room was great. I came across from the sunshine coast specifically to use his shop and I will do the same again. You have a great team Fab. It's not often, these days, that you come across a retail or service store like this and like most people who write your reviews, I feel like it deserves the time and effort from people like us.Cheers West Coast Off-Roaders!

Took my Gen 1 Taco to West Coast to have the suspension inspected and fixed. I was kept informed at every step of the process and given options. Labor and parts were extremely reasonable and I can't recommend West Coast enough. I will be taking my truck to them for all future work. Thanks!

These guys rock…and rock crawl :P Huge shout out to Fiona and the WCOR team for the awesome service. I called them on a Friday looking for a Long Ranger auxiliary gas tank for my JT (they are the exclusive distributor BTW). Not only did they have it in stock, it was processed for shipment the next day. BC to South Florida in one week, dropped off at my local shop, and I was ready to roll in two days. That’s less than two weeks from the first phone call! Again, can’t thank the WCOR team enough. Highly recommend them. Here are some images of the installed Long Ranger tank. It almost doubled my fuel capacity and I found the specs to be better than the LRA option on the market. Check them out at WCOR.

I had a Long Ranger fuel tank installed into my JT by WCOR, as they said they had experience doing this before. I called to let them know that I had additional aftermarket skid plates installed (Metalcloak's undercloak) and ask whether they'd be able to install the tank despite having those. They assured me that they could, but it would take a little longer. I'm perfectly understanding of that.I dropped my JT off at 9AM on a Thursday, and it was ready to go at 2PM on Friday. Definitely faster than I could have done it. They misjudged how much time the skid plates would add, so the price was slightly above the estimate. I don't have an issue with that either.Upon starting the vehicle, I was immediately able to tell there was an issue. The exhaust note was very different, like an exhaust leak. I told them that there was an exhaust leak, and a tech came out to look. He confirmed that the bell clamp had not been tightened. He was able to reach in and get it tightened before I left.On the drive home, after about an hour on the road, the auxiliary tank fuel gage stopped working. I emailed them Saturday hoping for an easy fix, which there was not. After exchanging emails on Sunday, they called me Tuesday. They had me replace a fuse with a higher-rated one, which just made the fuse under my hood pop.I tested the wiring harness and found that there was continuity between all 4 leads. The harness had somehow been damaged. WCOR said a new harness would have to come from the manufacturer in Australia. I had a trip imminent, and decided I couldn't wait. We made an appointment to get the harness fixed 2 weeks after the initial installation, and I began troubleshooting on my own. There was an abundant amount of zip-ties used to route the harness. Unfortunately, the wiring harness was routed adjacent to the exhaust. It had begun melting the exterior conduit, and would melt the wires if I didn't reroute the harness. That was not the damaged location.I was having significant issues with removing the skid plates, and WCOR gave me good advice on the best method of employing an angle grinder to accomplish that. I had to order replacement bolts from Metalcloak. I was able to remove the skid plates, the exhaust, and the hardware holding the auxiliary fuel tank in place. I lowered the fuel tank and found the damaged wire, which was routed between the tank and a frame crossmember that the tank is clamped to with u-bolts.I was able to cut out the damaged section, and splice the ends back together. I reattached the mounting hardware, and then reconnected the leads to the proper terminals. It now works as it should. 5/5 for the tank. All in all, I ended up having to rework about a quarter of what they did. I could not have cut the skid plates (they couldn't either, but they knew someone nearby who could). I didn't have to mess with the fuel filler neck, or the additional evap canister that the tank comes with.I didn't want to have to make the long drive there and back, but WCOR was willing to fix the issue; and pay for a hotel if the fix took more than a day.

I don't usually write google reviews, but felt compelled to after the amazing service that West Coast Off-Roaders (WCOR) has provided me. I initially went to WCOR to get a Carli Suspension Kit and Canopy for my F350. Fab, Ben and all the staff were more then wonderful to work with. Fab provided honest advice and never tried to sell me something I didn't need. Communication was clear, and service was always provided with the highest level of detail. Now on to why I decided to write this review..The other day I was on my own hunting in the back country a little over 3 hours out of Vancouver when I got a flat tire. I went to change the tire I realized that the Ford tire iron didn't fit onto the recessed lugs of my aftermarket wheels. Having zero other tools/patch kits/compressors etc... (yes i know...... lessons were learned) I was in a really bad spot. Luckily I had cell reception and was able to give Fab at WCOR a call for some advice. After about two minutes and him passing zero judgement on my lack of preparedness he told me to send him my co-ordinates and he would send one of his guys up to assist me!!Sure enough, about three hours later my hero, Pere arrived! Pere was immediately full of positive energy and had a fantastic attitude despite having battled rush hour traffic leaving the city for the past 3 + hours. A short time later Pere had the tire repaired and holding air. He followed me down the mountain and back to the highway for about 30 mins making sure I didn't run into any further issues and that the repair was holding. As I didn't want to drive over 80km/h I told Pere to go ahead. He texted me multiple times as I made my way home making sure everything was still okay.Fab and Pere both went way above and beyond what I would expect from any shop. I would recommend their services to anyone and everyone who has any interest in equipping their vehicle for off-roading.

I was very impressed with West Coast Off-roaders, Fab, and his staff. I had ARB front/rear lockers, diff breathers, air compressor, and upgraded gears installed on my Tundra. I brought my own SPOD which had switches that install in the upper sunglasses holder. With little notice before my trip down to Utah, Fab had his team work on my truck and got it done on time. There was a small mistake on my bill that I didn’t notice and Fab called me after I left to tell me about it and to have it fixed when I returned from my trip. I drove to Utah and back with no issues with the upgrades done and because of this and the BC honesty of Fab, I give WCOR 5⭐️. Bravo!
