I find it interesting to check out Walmarts in different countries. I still have a canvas reusable shopping bag from my time in Quebec ten years ago and I was hoping to add to that. Sadly, I didn't see any reusable bags that were interesting.Otherwise, the store was quite similar to the ones in the US. Mostly the same products, though labels are different (and in French!).No purchase today as the battery in the van has run down and so I can't run the fridge.[Review 20864 overall - 41 in British Columbia - 1848 of 2023.]

I’ve been there multiple times. The fact that they’re open from early in the morning and have a lot of useful stuff is really helpful. I remember once I was going out of town and I had forgotten to buy one of those electric car pumps, so I quickly stopped here and was able to find exactly what i was looking for.

Worst wal mart I’ve been too, waiting in line to upgrade my phone and several people budged in front of me and my daughter, staff didn’t say anything to the people who budged and decided it was ok to help them even after seeing me standing there for 15 minutes waiting. Was given nasty looks by the staff when I said I was here first and then ignored!

Update your hours on google maps! Arrived a little after 10pm and posted hours on google are 11pm closing - apparently they were last updated by the store 5 days ago.You were closed! And sign on the door said open till 10pm! Thanks for the 45 minutes wasted time and gas money. I really needed that in this economy.Unacceptable in this day and age.Anyhow that’s the last straw for this location for me - I’m going to suck up that little extra cost and only use superstore from now on. The disappointments and unpleasant attitude of staff here cost me more in $ and stress.But still update your hours so you don’t mess any other poor folk around,

Today, when I wanted to enter this store, I noticed the security guard checks and looks into the bags of employees while they're leaving the store at the end of the working shift. The guard explained that management ordered employees to show their stuff while exiting.Perhaps management thinks that just because these people are minimum wage employees, the frequency of shoplifting between them is higher than other customers. Most of these people are new emigrants with student or foreign worker status who struggle with high rent and living expenses. Walmart should support its employees instead of humiliating and discriminating them in front of the other customers.I know this treatment happened about 2 years ago in this store, but they stopped it due to employees and public pressure.I believe it's customers' and society's responsibility to react against this misbehavior.

The frustrating thing about this store is the food aisles are far too narrow. They get crowded very easily, making passing other shoppers troublesome, even during non-peak hours. Food shopping is inevitably more busy than elsewhere in the store and I don''t understand why management has done nothing to rectify this, since most other department aisles have sufficient spacing for multiple shoppers.Food options are just adequate, but not as plentiful as other Wallmarts I visit. There seems a decent selection of product across other departments of the store.

There is usually long queues especially at peek times you could wait 20+ minutes.Standard walmart other than that, has a mc Donald's inside which is nice. It attached to the mall which closes at 6 but walmart has its own entrance open to 11 I believe

Nasty self checkout lady. There was an error with our payment and we thought it was tapped and approved and we are started to leave and the lady angrily claimed we did not pay. She didn't say the transaction had a problem. She said "you didn't pay" such a nasty woman. We just bought a couple items and didn't wait for the receipt since I thought it was completed. No need to be nasty and accusing. Simply say "please come back. There was a problem with payment". Speak nicely, not like a nasty mean old lady.

Parking lot smells SOOOOO wretched. Like the entire south lot. It's unspeakably disgusting. Inside is very busy even at 3pm on a weekday. So it's pretty stressful. Layout is kinda weird because of the nature of the building. Workers were fairly friendly for the most part.

Bathroom was super dirty and smelled very strongly of urine. Many items out of stock. Noticeable difference in the store since I was last there. No wrapping paper at all. Asked and was promptly led to automotive? Something has changed. Ownership/management perhaps? Very dirty. Lots of anti theft devices.. and cameras everywhere.

Walmart North Vancouver is one of the very good branches. Almost all its items are complete. Its staff and managers are very well behaved, furthermore, The managers of this series tried to use the right people in different parts. The name of one of these managers who helped me a lot was Mahsa. She was very personable and made my shopping experience very enjoyable. Thank you to the management of Walmart North Vancouver??

I was there yesterday, one of the customers opened the sauce jar, smelled it and then put it back. Why is there no supervision? If that customer was sick? Even some sauce spilled out of the glass on the floor.and There was no one to give a warning. Unfortunately, some customers do not follow the morals and principles and do not understand the human culture of shopping and behave as their please.it should be some food securityIn the food department, there should be someone who warns about the observance of hygiene points so that the rights of other customers protected.

Pamneet is one awesome person for this store, today she went out if her way to help me find something that I saw in the store a few days ago. The items had been moved, one lazy store employee told me they are sold out, But Pamneet took me to it. Sh is the greatest! Thanks
