I had an ECU issue with my Eurovan. It was at another shop for weeks as we searched for a replacement. John was able to repair the unit and I had it back on the road the same day! Incredible service from a true VW wizard!

Can’t say enough good things. Traveling back down to the states we broke down. John made time to get us fixed up and on the road again he even let me sleep in a different van haha. with 50 years experience on Volkswagens he’s the person to take it to.

We towed a beautiful 80s Westphalia 4x4 on good Friday to them and they were closed, so we phoned them leaving a message telling them we left the van . Not long after they phone us and said they were going to the shop in about one hour and would put the van inside . Awesome customer service. 5✴️

John is very knowledgable on VW campervans. My Eurovan had a major oil leak, which he was able to immediately diagnose on the phone and fixed within a day. He also provides great service, educating me about the vehicle and giving future maintenance advice in an objective, non-pushy manner.

Terrible experience - provided detailed information re: issue I was experiencing. $700 later I’m told the issue is resolved only to have issue persist exactly as it was prior to bringing my vehicle here. Was told parts were changed only to find out they weren’t once I had someone else I trusted take a look at said parts. Needed parts to fix the issue that was not fixed despite being told it was, this garage sold half the parts contained in a full repair kit for double the price of the complete kit I later discovered a local VW part supplier sold. Avoid this garage if you can - much better and honest garages out there that fix VW vans.

Excellent service from John at Vanwonder. Got me out of a pickle when my ECU went on my 1993 Eurovan and I could not find one in North America. He fixed my old one.

Much more expensive than expected, like 5-6x more. No quote before work. Surprise you with a big bill when you pick up. And the problem still exists. Went to a different shop the next day, problem got fix in 15 min… Going to a dealer is still cheaper than going here.
