I am thrilled to give a 5 star review to Okko and Kent at True Blue Painting. To be honest, I was worried that simply painting our existing cabinets would look cheesy but they look fantastic. You would never know they aren’t the original colour. Both men took extreme care and were meticulous, even painting while we were on vacation for our convenience. The price was very fair. 10/10 would recommend.

True blue came highly recommended and did not disappoint! I wasn’t sure i could afford their services so i emailed some photos of my kitchen and received a reply within an hour! Okko set up an in person estimate within a few days and was very clear in what to expect. He brought samples so I could see how the finished cabinets would look and he provided lots of insight into helping my choose how light/dark to go. The estimate was so reasonable and I was thrilled that i could afford it. From there, Okko was in constant communication; providing me dates of what will be happening, when and why. He told me clearly how to prepare and what products would be used. He sent reminders and was so fast to get back to my questions. Both Okko and Kent arrived on time, organized and efficient and friendly. Everything went exactly as Okko had told me it would go! The cost was exactly as quoted and time lines were exactly as I was told.
The finished product is essentially flawless! Really surpassed all of my expectations.
I can understand why they came highly recommended and have absolute confidence in recommending them to anybody looking to refinish cabinets! Thanks Okko and Kent :)

I would highly recommend True Blue. The final product is excellent. The whole process from start to finish was well organized with good communication. Everything was completed on time. I found Ekko and his team easy to work with and highly accountable. I also think their service is very reasonable priced. All in all a great company with a great product and excellent service.

We had an excellent experience with True Blue Painting! They were very professional and communicative throughout the whole process and clearly outlined the expectations. The quality of the work was very high, and we're really happy with the results. Our kitchen and bathroom cabinets were dark and dated, and now they look fresh and modern. Highly recommend!

Our kitchen needed a refresh for some time, but who has the budget these days for cabinet replacement? In comes True Blue who showed us all the benefits of professionally refinishing our existing cabinets. Our anxiety was quickly put to ease as the process from start to finish was very seamless and smooth. Okko and Kent are true professionals and hands on with every detail, taking a personal pride in your kitchen. We now have a brand new kitchen at a fraction of what we thought it would cost! The hardest thing about getting our cabinets refinished was choosing the new colour and the new hardware - that tells you just how smoothly the actual process run. We went on vacation and returned home to an updated and very tidy kitchen. Thank you Okko and the team for being so organized and in turn making the process so easy for us. The results are better than expected. We are happy we chose to extend the life of our kitchen by a few more years instead of prematurely ripping it out, and we are happy we chose True Blue to carry out the work!

Thank you to True Blue Painting for the fantastic job of refurbishing my kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. Okko was very professional to work with, made a point to set very clear expectations and timelines, and made a special effort to inform you of all that you need to know – the positives and the negatives – in the first consult meeting before deciding to go ahead or not. From that point, Okko sent the promised follow reminder emails and other such communications on the days he said he would, was quick to respond to emails, and kept me apprised of what was going on while the work was underway (I was travelling for work during part of this timeframe). Despite being scheduled several months in advance – several months is how far True Blue Painting is booking in advance now – the refurbishment work commenced on the planned start date and the onsite work and offsite work was completed within the estimated timeframe provided during the initial consult meeting.
To top it off, to accommodate my work schedule, Okko transferred keys as needed to others on the True Blue team (I assume to Kent), and then to my new tenant who moved in just before the refinished cabinet doors were reinstalled which saved me from trying to find someone to be at the apartment while I was away. Thank you again to Okko and True Blue Painting for making this easy and for the fantastic end result.

The decision to paint kitchen cabinets involved lots of research and discussions with others. True Blue was well recommended and the final results are excellent. Okko and Kent have made our cabinet painting process extremely easy for us and the results were incredible! They have a seamless no-frills process, and they make sure to provide a great quality product. What an incredible experience having my cabinets upgraded by True Blue Painting. The project schedule was extremely clear and concise, and they worked very closely with my tenants to ensure that they were as unaffected as possible through the upgrade and had the best experience that they possibly could have. Ha-ha, don't let your first meeting with Okko scare you off!! He is a giant of a man with a lot to say! But, underneath, he is a caring, conscientious guy who wants you to understand fully the process before you decide to go ahead. He is passionate about each of the projects they take on & he wants you to know everything (the positive and the negative) in that first meeting. If you are trying to decide between True Blue and some other company, I believe you will find their pricing to be fair & competitive. Their work is immaculate and of superior quality to other cabinetry I have seen painted. You will be in very good hands with Okko and Kent!! We are 100% pleased with the work done to transform our kitchen cabinetry, living room built-ins and our main bathroom cabinetry. Once our Contractor provided them with our renovation schedule, True Blue came through, arriving on the scheduled day (which was set months beforehand). Their estimate of how many days they needed on-site was accurate and their reinstallation of the pieces they took away to paint in the spray booth went smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Okko, Kent and True Blue Painting. But, plan ahead if you want them because their excellent reputation means they are getting booked months in advance.
