I had a highly disappointing experience at the TELUS store yesterday. I was offered a mobile plan for CAD 50, which included 100GB of internet, unlimited Canada-wide talk and SMS, and a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 256GB for $35 monthly on a 2-year contract, along with a free Galaxy Watch 6 LTE. After they started the contract, did a credit check, and ported my number from my previous operator, the salesperson, Ario, informed me that I would need to pay an additional $15 for the watch. This hidden fee was not mentioned initially and felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. Such dishonest practices are unacceptable, and I would not recommend this store to anyone.

The staff are a lot nicer when I'm spending money there. As opposed to when I need assistance with the Google watch they sold me.

I had excellent service at this store. I purchased two I Phone 15 on their Black Friday sale. Sarneet answered all my questions and was very patient.

The service provided at this location is simply not up to standard. Upon my arrival, the initial interaction I encountered was a blunt statement, "I'm helping a customer," lacking any form of greeting. Patiently awaiting my turn, I informed a young lady staff that I had previously spoken to a representative over the phone. The representative had provided me with an account number and instructed me to visit any Telus store to verify my identification for the activation of my account or order.Despite providing the account number, the response I received was, "I can't do anything, please call this 1866 number." When I mentioned that I had just spoken to them and they directed me to this store, the response was dismissive. She simply handed me a piece of paper with the number on it and returned to using her phone. Her attitude conveyed a lack of interest, leaving me with the impression that she might not want to be there. In all seriousness, I believe she should consider pursuing a different line of work.

My husband and I went into the Capilano Mall store yesterday to upgrade our older phones. Kevin spent GREAT time with us, explaining all of our options, and making sure we left with exactly what we needed, and we are both very happy with our new phones - my new Iphone14 and whatever that Samsung thing is my husband got. (LOL)We had been into this location a few months earlier, and had less than stellar service from another employee, but Kevin was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and a great sense of humour too. We highly recommend him, if you need help at the Cap Mall store.

I am a longtime customer and I lost my connection last Thursday (today is Tuesday) and I'm still without internet and TV and the technician just came and still couldn't fix it. I'm hoping it will get fixed tomorrow. I pay a premium (yes, it is not cheap) to have a reliable connection and now it's been 5 days. At this point I am going to cancel my contract and go to another ISP.

I want to be clear that this 5 star review is not for Telus as a company. I think that the company has mountains to go in terms of having good customer service. This 5 stars is specifically for Nooshin and her team at this location. The experience with Telus was poor as we had to wait forever on hold just to change simple little things, or we had to go home to make a change or call another 1-800 number, clearly that is not good customer service at all. Telus does not give its employees the tools and authorization necessary in order to give anywhere close to good customer service. But, against all odds, Nooshin and her team gave me and my family the best customer service that they could. She was upbeat, friendly and professional throughout the whole experiences and it made what was a bad experience by Telus, at least a bit better. Please give these wonderful employees the tools they need to give the customer better experiences on Telus' behalf. Thank you Nooshin and team for helping me and my family get new cell phone plans!

My brother is on a Telus prepaid plan, but there was an issue with topping up his account. He tried to do it himself, but the funds were not withdrawn, and the plan remained inactive. Unfortunately, there was no function in the application to activate it manually. (A big gap in my opinion from the Telus side)Upon visiting the store, we encountered a girl who was sitting alone and scrolling through Instagram messages. She made a suggesting that we should try rebooting the phone. After we did so, she simply said, "Well, I don't know how to help you. Let's try topping up the account again here."We were surprised by her unhelpful attitude and lack of initiative to investigate the issue in the system. Her behavior was brazen, as if we had come to her house begging for help.Overall, the service was unacceptable, and this was the second time we experienced such poor service in that particular place.
