This place is great. My in-laws have a locker here, and during a recent move, my mother-in-law was sweet enough to pick up bundles of boxes for me. Upon dropping them off, she always had a fun story to tell of her visit to the storage depot. She would smile as she relayed how nice the staff here are. They would carry the boxes to her car for her, give her a free roll of tape, and one time she took my kids and a staff member there asked if he could give the kids some bubbles to pop! After not having the same great experience at the location near me in Burnaby, I drove to this location and was able to experience the kind of customer service that seems to be lost these days. The minute I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by a man who looked like the manager in his well dressed button up dress shirt and trousers. He immediately asked if there was anything he could help me with and got to work with my request himself right away. I was there to purchase some boxes, which he also helped carry to my car with a complimentary roll of tape. While I was paying for my purchase, my 3 young kids ran around in the big open space, laughing and giggling. Instead of showing annoyance to their high energetic, silly game, the manager laughed along with them. The drive from Burnaby was ?% worth it! Thank you ?

they give out my personal information out to someone trying to access my locker and than call me to give permission and "Veera" is the rudest person in the office and the customer is always wrong! refuses to let me speak with the manager! Got a hold of the manager from their other location and he addressed by concerns.

I had a great experience with them, especially a lady named Viera.It's my first time even rent a storage so everything was new to me. Viera was super patient and informational. She answered all questions in detail and provided helpful suggestions.The place is also very secure and convenient.I would recommend this place to people if you need a storage.

Absolutely best storage facility on the North Shore and in the lower mainland, I have been quite the storage junkie having storage places in downtown Vancouver, Yaletown, Burnaby and a couple in North Van and West Van, I love it here, Reo and Vera are my favourites, and night time security, Joseph! they are so accommodating, friendly and will go the extra mile for you, I never really rate places, I think it's a waste of time but Self Storage Depot on W 1st is definitely one that is worth eating. AMAZING ! I am going to be so sad to leave when I move away outside of the province in the next few months.. I live in Mission currently and kept my storage here for a good reason! Will miss you guys when I leave! All the best!

Great staff Steven and Reo were great! I left my lock improperly set twice and they contacted me within a short period of time to inform me and took care of securing the locker for me until I could get there.I used 2 different storage units and they were both clean and dry.The security for my belongings was fantastic and when I move next time I will use this location again!Thank you!Joanne
